Receivers will be better this year, too many times saw receivers in the same area under butters. Need the Oline to step up and give Trask the time to make the throw. And with our new S&C program, they shouldn't be turnstiles.

Go Gators!

We are not gullible, we are hopeful that someone on the roster is better than what we saw from Franks last year.

I think we are all hopeful of that.

Here’s what I think happens – Franks gets the opening day nod. He runs the entire month of September and gets hurt sometime during the month. His play starts to decline toward the end of September and he begins to blame his injury.

Trask goes in and saves a game that Franks absolutely craps the bed in. Let’s say - Miss State. Everybody then thinks the Trask is the savior. But then we either struggle or lose against LSU at home. Then Trask struggles again against Vanderbilt and is replaced by EJ.

All signs and all noise during the bye week points to preparing Trask as the starter against Georgia. Then EJ is trotted out onto the field. And the EJ era begins.

Or so I can dream…

Based on Mullen's history, he wants to sit EJ. The reality? I think we see EJ starting by the end of the season.

Someone told me that Franks will be the guy also.I just think that many UF fans were really frustrated by Franks's weakness in quick thinking last season. Basics like getting rid of the ball or running out of bounds for a loss when all he had to do was throw the ball away. Franks has an interception issue also.

Very good commentary on how bad the coaching and play calling has been recently. I agree with Chris that we have not had a WR coach since Aubrey Hill left and the play calling has been atrocious.

Don't be shocked if we see Trask for a few games if Franks did the unthinkable and lost to KY. Heck Franks tried to give them the game last year before being replaced.

Franks can lose the KY game. Someone might need to come off the bench and pull that one out the fire again.
