Two minutes remaining, down by five, need a win. Who you got? I think I know who most of you are going to pick. As much as I hate 'em, I probably want either of the GB guys.

Being a Dolphins fan, my favorite QB is Marino. But it’s Brady.

I don’t care what any other idiot media guy writes... NOT Capt Forehead.

Probably go with Brady.

A better poll would be: Besides Brady, who is the most clutch NFL QB.

Montana just because I used to give a damned when he played.....Not to take away what Brady has done but I just don't watch anymore.

Other than Brady/Montana, I think it's clearly Elway. He was known for comeback wins at the end of games.

I can't believe the original "Captain Comeback"' is not a choice. Roger Staubach.

Edit: Just saw '78's post re: Stabler. He needs to be on that list, too.

Are you talking Jim Kelly, Fran Tarkenton, or someone else?

Probably not who you wanted to see atop the leaderboard.

As a kid I took a liking to the Redskins because they seemed to always be on our local channel on Sunday afternoons in the early and mid 70's. I hated the Cowboys because at that time the 2 were bitter NFC East rivals and the Cowboys probably won more of their head to head match ups. Roger was the man though and he just had that little something extra that would win them games. I still remember the bomb he threw to Drew Pearson on a Thanksgiving Day game that was like a dagger to the heart in the last minute or so. The guy also seemed to have eyes in the back of his head when it came to avoiding the pass rush.

Part of it's a style thing. I personally prefer the gunslinger approach to comebacks, guys like Favre, Elway, Marino and Roethlisberger.

I seem to recall elway got his team in trouble during the first 3 quarters and that’s why he had so many opportunities to bail them out at the end.

I wonder how those stats compare when looking at regular season vs playoffs. payton was the king of the regular season.

I hated Stabler but there's no denying his greatness......he was also pretty damned good when the game was on the line. He would probably make my top 10 list of "clutch" QB's from that era. I never heard of his drinking exploits like the others but it would fit his persona.
