I'm not trying to rain on the parade here because this is a good thing, but generally I think science has found that winning big games is the biggest way to attract interest and crowds. We haven't done much of that in the last decade and, shockingly, the seats reflect it.

it's the way things are going, it's smart for them to make this upgrade. through I don't like using my phone that much at sporting events, ton of kids do.

I think that’s part of it. But I think it’s also because people don’t want to sit in the heat and they can watch it on their giant 50 inch flatscreen TVs that they can purchase for a grand.

Most kids today view sharing across social platforms as their social life. Not necessarily spending three hours in the heat at a football game. I’m not saying that it’s right or wrong – I’m just saying that’s the way it is.

You can say that again.

I wasn't trying to suggest it was a bad idea or was unnecessary, just that winning is the biggest way to solve an empty seat issue.

I’d love to see a stadium upgrade of shade screens built around the top ala hard rock down in miami. I think that would pay immediate dividends in butts in the seats.

I don’t think it will bring that many more fans. But it is a major deal for the the tens of thousands that do show up.

Attendance will pick up with competitiveness. In a down cycle the brainiac kids stay home. The alumni show de us always packed regardless.

That should say “the alumni side is always packed”

Very on top of the game news wise as usual. They have been out there for 2 weeks putting those boxes everywhere. All it seems to me is that it will make even small and tight seating areas even smaller and tighter. Perhaps they could use that money an give me a men's room where I am not swimming in urine on game day or the place does not smell like SHYT.

We’ll still find a way to eff it up. I guarantee you it will be one of those systems you have to log into to use, have a game day code, and then every time your phone is asleep for 10+ minutes (in your pocket) you’ll have to re-log in.

You all know exactly what I’m talking about.

It’s the same WiFi system that is in the Seattle Seahawks stadium.
