I think that's what you take from this win. We still have all the issues we had last week -- spotty quarterback play, inconsistent blocking, poor tackling, missed assignments by the secondary, not the intensity that I would like to see on the DL -- but you can see leaders being formed and the overall play improving.

ST play was lights out.

We're gonna struggle at Neyland. Don't care. Only care about how we are in late November.

IT'S GREAT TO BE A FLORIDA GATOR.

I saw improvement over last week and that’s all I was really looking for. Just need to continue to grow. We all knew we’d take our lumps this season.

I don't know if I saw improvement or we just simply played a much worse team. The outcome was much better tho so I'll take it. Still say we won't know anything until a few more games.

Improvement was there. Better blocking, much better tackling, better ST play. Several good hard physical hits.

Franks started 0-6 with an int. Could have imploded. Finished 8-9 119 yds 2 td.

Scarlett, Perine and Pierce ran hard and north and south.

48-10 exceeded nearly all expectations.

Coaches had a good week. Let’s take down the Vols.

This as far as offense goes. That team's defense is straight garbage.

Getting better? Not sure I see it but there are some bright spots. Pierce is going to be a stud. WR corps could be very good with a half decent QB. Franks is awful. We should have run this team out of the building in the first half but we had to try far to hard. ST covered up a rather bad day by both the offense and defense.

What more is there to know? If seen enough to realize what we are.

Run blocking needs improvement. They're not gonna move anybody in The SEC with that kind of blocking. Pass blocking was much improved today though. Frank's still very inconsistent. Much better tackling but still some misses. Special teams play was great today nice to see.

Hope we play inspired football against Tennessee next week.

Didnt get a chance to watch the game yet, but wanted to know if you or anyone else feels there was improvement because of the level of competition or was it improvement overall? Legit question I haven't had a chance to watch yet.

If you told me we would win 48-10 I would say that you are smoking the same stuff that I usually smoke/snort/inject. Go Gators!!

Read Marine1’s post. It was spot on. Our offense is still piss-poor, but defense and specials teams looked like a different squad than last week.

The D bent but didn't break. 3 turnovers is great for sure. Still have to shore up the pass D. Too many guys wide open especially over the middle. Run D was much better. Offense still has ways to go but ST was for sure lights out awesome no doubt. Gotta keep improving and not let up. Go Gators!!

It's a net-net assessment, meaning slight. Kentucky was a much better opponent. Yes, you could say glimmers of hope. Franks would be on the bench if I were the head coach. There's no room for one unsportsmanlike let alone back to backs.

The penalties in the second half were frustrating.

The tackling is what disturbs me the most. Grantham should be getting his resume updated.

Defense played with much more intensity and the tackling was solid. Colorado State's defense is horrible and Franks is just not a very good QB and will probably not get much better, IMO. The defensive front showed it can be pretty good, but injuries have decimated our secondary. Time will tell if those yojung guys can hold up against SEC competition.

I thought that was a strong point considering how that team slung it in a couple of games. I still think the better SEC teams will run it down our throat however.

Colorado held this team to under 300 yds less first downs and rolled up 590 yards of offense on them...let that sink in

Giving up 22 first downs to a **** team like them is bad
Oh please. We were in their backfield every damn play. That QB is very mentally tough and was able to hit short throws for first downs all day, but it never got them anywhere. CSU couldn't run the football at all. The tackling was solid, absolutely nothing like last week.
