Let's go to the tape.

How many highlight vids on promising young kids are spent half the time on blocked shots? This guy can play both ends.

Great news for the good guys to me.

Gators May Have To Wait For Scottie Lewis Decision | GatorCountry.com

"From the accounts of Kentucky media Lewis’ visit went well but from the outside perspective of someone like, say, me, it seemed a little odd. Now, I have no idea what exactly he did while he was there or what pitch they gave him but what I do know is Calipari left halfway through the visit to fly to Memphis and visit James Wiseman, the #1 player in 2019. That same weekend, while Lewis was still on campus in Lexington, Calipari flew from Memphis to Minnesota to then see Zeke Nnaji and Matthew Hurt, two of their other high-profile targets."

To me it is great that this is getting publicity. Maybe this will cause Lewis to think UK did not treat him as well as other.

The truth is the head coach does not spend every minute with any recruit on an official visit. I suspect that Calipari was there to greet him and try to close him at the end of the visit. Still as I said above, this publicity may help UF.

Love these videos -- especially pleased seeing them finish so sure-forced "through" the rim. So many times in the recent past our guys got to the rim to deliver "rim-clang" misses always rebounded by a defender. To me, that uncanny act (90% of the time) a stupid turnover, and blanket discouragement. It always made me think "This will never qualify as a contender if we keep missing those. Let these new finishers show our 'residudes' how it's done.

Kudos to Coach White, quietly making some big noise.

Mike White is killing it on the trial. Suck it, haters. Owned and destroyed. Hahahah.

Seriously though, loving it. I always felt Billy was struggling in recruiting toward the end of his tenure. Those two five-star busts cost him big time. I miss the legend Billy D. But enjoy the shyte out of th new kid.

For a guy who may commit after the early signing period, he is seemingly using up all his visits and in homes.

He's visiting St. John's. I just think he wants to use up all his visits. I mean, I'd be stunned if he chose to go there. They have made the tourney twice in his entire life. If all of the reporting is to be believed, it is between us and kintucky.

Yeah, I don't understand the St.John's visit either unless he just wants to be wined and dined in NYC. Still, he is acting like a guy planning to sign early, but I believe I have read he will not.

Looks like the St. John's visit is off. How close a race this is I don't know. UK thinks they have a great shot. I believe them.

What a Scottie Lewis commitment would mean to Kentucky

Florida had taken a sizeable lead in his recruitment after high school teammate Alex Klatsky committed as a walk-on for Mike White.

But things changed after Lewis made his official visit to Kentucky over the weekend of September 15th. The indications were that the visit went extremely well and that Lewis likes the idea of playing with Tyrese Maxey, Dontaie Allen, and Kahlil Whitney in the class of 2019.

Recruiting guru Evan Daniels picked Florida for Lewis but has since updated his prediction to "foggy."

As far as CJ Walker is concerned, his visit to Florida is in 2 weeks. From what I've read, we got a great shot at him as well.

C.J. Walker went from state champ OCP to another: Oak Ridge

LSU, UF and Miami head coaches and assistants have made in-home visits with Walker’s family this month. He said he is flying out for an official visit to Oregon Thursday and take his official to Florida in two weeks.

Let's hope we are not just being strung along, better players would be great.

I really believe we have an amazing chance to land Lewis. UK is trying to control the narrative due to their media monopoly. Word is, on Scottie's visit Cal was only there for a few hours cause he went to see two higher ranked players that same weekend. That is just wrong lol
