I still think he's a good coach. Not sure how he would have done here. It ain't the 90's anymore and he's not going to get the athletes there he needs.

Not to mention UCF hasn't missed a beat in his absence.

Just when you thought you knew everything.

I am surprised at how inept they look. Didn't see this coming. I still say it's early and he might be tearing the whole thing down and rebuilding it from scratch. Also, some of you said that Nebraska is a dead program. You may have been 100% right.

As far as winning NC's, I think they are absolutely dead because it's a place you can't recruit elite athletes to anymore. You could certainly put some solid 10-win teams together, though.

However, those fans expect titles, not 10-win seasons. Frost put himself in an impossible situation.

Is Ohio much better? I think Nebraska is at a disadvantage but with the right coach there’s still a possibility.

I think he will have them competitive by year 3. I doubt he can ever get them challenging OSU due to recruiting.

Ohio is a more fertile recruiting state, esp eastern. That said, you have to be a national recruiter in both states. We know Urban Meyer is.

There hasn't been a 5-star recruit of the state of Nebraska since 2001.

You’re right, of course. Most people consider booming metropolitan areas like Cleveland and Columbus to be prime vacation spots. People are flocking to live there too! Oh wait...
Do you know anything about Nebraska? There is no comparison. Cleveland is Los Angeles compared to anything in Nebraska.

Sober up.

I wish... 3 drink max out here :(

Both are ****holes. If Meyer was in Nebraska, he’d put them back on the map.

So is western PA, coal country, but it's still a football factory.

On the map, yes. Winning the whole enchilada? No.

At any rate, Scott Frost couldn't hold Meyer's jock.
