This game was billed as a sellout, and it's obvious where the sellout was. That's just bullshyt. Eff the students for the blase attitude.

(Personal thanks to 2bag for sharing his own pic, which I screencapped from another board we frequent togrther.)
That’s just so hard to believe. From 2003-2006, one of my biggest stressors each week was getting my student ticket. I managed to go to every home game except FAMU my freshman year - hard to believe I couldn’t get that ticket but it was sold out due to their band.

I missed a good bit of the first half. Did Heggie start at RG? Because after the way he played in the 2nd half, Mullen better give him that job. Johnson has no business playing ahead of him. In the 4th, he was so physical.

Agreed . My best friends son is good friends with Heggie. He said his conditioning is not where they want it for him to play the whole game after his injury. He was a bulldozer in the 4th! He also said Heggie and Franks are besties, almost to the level where it’s kinda creepy.

Definitely nice to bring in Heggie and Pierce late to salt away games.

I have to give major credit to the OL. No sacks and excellent push by them in the running game. They're gelling at the right time. Major kudos to Hevesy.

You know, when I was at UF, we could sell our tickets. You didn't have to show a UF ID to get into the east stands. That made sense bc kids from our sections could bring their parents, friends or whatever and sit by them during the game.

That would solve this problem in a second.

Absolutely. That’s what we did. The student section had at least 500 empty seats yesterday. That’s bullshyt.

A few minutes before kickoff. The students filled in in the first quarter but still about 500 open seats throughout the entire game. That’s BS. 56054694655__163ACF79-345B-4858-9DD4-67088914953C.JPG

Man I’m so stoked to be at this game. Planning this before the season I had no idea what to expect. Just wanted to go have fun since I haven’t been there since 2010. I honestly think the gators roll here. My prediction is 27-17 but I think it could avalanche for LSU
I was pretty close here

Not worried about the stands. It was 99.5% full and deafening. We’ll get the last 500 on board soon.

Coaches loved it, players loved it and recruits were blown away by it. The Swamp is back!

Great game, great win! I wasn’t able to watch much live but savored the replay late last night.

Shout out to @BMF : You were right in your assessment of Burrow & I undervalued him. He’s efficient, accurate and makes good decisions when he doesn’t have Zuniga or Joseph draped all over him. Arm strength isn’t great. But I still don’t think UF needed him.

Maybe not “needed,” but I think he could’ve helped. Really hoping FF continues to improve.
