True story. Cold is all that matters to @Detroitgator
Like most, I prefer a beer to be cold. But I think it's more important if you're drinking a lager or pilsner type beer. Ales seem to be able to handle things better once the initial chill is gone. I've tried to get my wife more into drinking ales for that very reason. By the time she gets to the bottom of a Stella for instance, it's pretty tough to handle. In contrast, I've had a lukewarm Lagunitas at the beach before, and while I obviously enjoyed the cold ones more, it was still good.
Hey, I'm not knocking you guys, I'm just saying what works for me given my experiences where if one can have a COLD beer, any fookin beer at all, it's the best beer ever. Everything else in this thread is icing. You have no idea how many times I gladly paid $5-$8 for a can of cold heiniken or stella and in those circumstances they were hands down the best beers EVER. ;)True story. Guess what? When it's the only thing available, I'm happy to drink a COLD, sh*tty IPA too! ;)IPAs are not my thing. Give me a lager any day of the week and preferably before work.
Also love the porters and a huge fan of room temp, tapped, Guinness.

PS That said, I'd still take a cold Stella or Bud Lite Platinum over just about anything else. I just like what I like. Same with vodka, it's practically all I drink and I only drink one brand, not because I'm a vodka snob, but because it's the one i like.
Tito's is for douche bags and college students who think it's cool (which means "douche bag"). ;)You don't strike me as a Tito's guy.

Making it a double vodka Red Bull smooths out the Red Bull. ;)I have a bottle of Tito’s that I keep for a certain buddy that comes over to watch ball ️ ️. Dude only drinks vodka redbulls . I tell him to knock it off and find another mixer or he’s gonna have a heart attack at 35.

Tell him to try it with Russian Standard.
When not in Russia, Belarus or Ukraine, yes. It’s what they drink abroad too. That or Stoli. The regular RS is good for mixing, RS Platinum worth the little extra if shooting cold.I’ll relay the message my friend . Assuming the RS is your one and only, correct?
Stoli is what I’ve always preferred. Nice bite to it that you didn’t find in the trendy vodkas. Makes the best bloody Mary’s.When not in Russia, Belarus or Ukraine, yes. PS Every club I’ve ever been to in that part of the world has a cold bottle of vodka with six Red Bull’s on the menu set up in a clear plastic holder that looks like a revolver cylinder with bottle in middle and Red Bull in six cylinders around it.
Law, this is my Eurotrash/Serebro girls showing;)
I'm happy to report that I left all flowerbed inspections to the Disney landscaping crew.
Tip of the cap to Gvile's own, First Magnitude, for making the Food and Wine Festival Craft Beer menu with their Lemongrass Saison. Not my favorite genre, but had it in a Florida flight, and it was bearable. The Shipyard Brewing Company Monkey Fist IPA was good, as was the Bold City Brewing 1901 Roasted Red Ale.
On the other hand, JDub’s Brewing Company Honeydew Melon Kölsch, Central 28 Beer Company's Waff-Ale(think chilled, watered down maple syrup), and the Florida Beer Company Passport Triple Chocolate Milk Stout(stop, stop, stop) were all complete disasters. Failure doesn't even begin to describe them, and I have no desire to even breakdown the flavor distinctions. Just terrible beers that should probably get someone fired, considering it was a great opportunity to showcase their respective local beers and instead they put out an embarrassing effort.
Try Russian Standard, it’s a step up from Stoli with exactly what you’re talking about... nice bite, but clean with none of that sh*tty after taste like Grey Goose, Kettle One or the othersStoli is what I’ve always preferred. If you’re in FL, my Publix has it and so does ABC in Gainesville, so it’s around.I’ll give Detroit credit. He knows his vodka . Stoli is good stuff. I’ll be on the lookout for the russian standard .
