Who else felt confident at halftime?

After the ridiculous series of events that lead to two ejections for us, I told my dad “we got this”. I was confident Mullen and staff would settle them down, make some adjustments and have our boys playing well in the second half. It’s great to know you have an actual football coach for a change instead of a lump from a Montana!

I was certainly confident that there was no reason why we couldn't easily come back and win the game. Despite the score we were crushing them statistically. You don't win with stats, but give the game long enough and when one team is playing so much better than the other team then eventually the points will be scored and things will come together. I'm just pissed that my parakeets head fell off.

As soon as I saw Mullen and Grantham ready to go all Khabib I knew we would come roaring back!
Mushchamp would have self destructed in that situation. Mac would’ve cried. Mullen coached his team up!

I was not worried at the half, but there were times that I could not believe my eyes.

Getting the Gators fired up was the dumbest thing Mason could’ve done. I knew if we cut out the mistakes we could win, but after the bench clearing brought on by Masons display on our side of the field I knew we had the edge from then on.

Although it’s only Vandy, and we looked like hot garbage for a good while, this was one of the most satisfying wins in a long while.

No way Mac or Muschamp would have overcome the deficit. What’s even better (as the thread title states) I knew we were going to win, even when we were down 8 at half.

Good Coaching, oh how I missed thee. It’s been too long

I didnt. It takes a while to learn to trust a staff, for the kids and for the fans.

I wouldn't say I was confident at halftime, but I was not doom and gloom worried like I've been in years past. I WAS confident that the coaching staff was actually going to make adjustments.

Based on how we had moved the ball on them, I was confident even at 21-3. We've been a great turnover-margin team all season. I really thought we could come back on them, esp after the experience in Knoxville.

Franks showed further evidence of his growth in the second half. He made a couple throws over the middle that were NFL quality.

Mullen called, next to FSU in '08, probably the best game I've seen. He's really an underrated tactician and a lot more aggressive than people give him credit for.

Never thought Franks could lead us back down 21-3 in a game, especially on the road. Mullen has done a good job with him. I've said it plenty on here, I didn't think he was salvagable before the season and expected him to be riding the bench by now. Getting within one score at the half surely gave us some much needed momentum heading into the half. I'm not going to say I was very confident we'd come back, especially with getting 2 players kicked out before half, but knew we could move the ball on them. If we just limit mistakes, we would be fine. Mullen has these boys playing hard, I can say that. Hopefully that effort keeps up the rest of the year.

I wasn’t confident, but I knew we COULD come back if we eliminated the mistakes and regained focus. Nice job with second half adjustments!

I was more pissed that I had the undertotal points 25.5. That TD before the half did me in. Screw you, Gator Defense.

Yeah I was confident. We were moving the ball at ease. I knew if we stopped making mistakes we'd come back. Plus it's Vandy and they'l start to Vandy sooner or later. We came back against LSU last week too. Mullinz hasn't let us down since KY and I'm really starting to gain confidence in him and this team.
But it's been 9 seasons since I've had any faith that we'd be able to come back. I'm starting to really like this team.
