As I recall, they broke every tendency in that game. There wasn’t one personnel group => formation => play that OSU had seen on tape. They mixed them up, running many of the same plays but from different formations, entirely throwing off OSU’s keys. I attributed that to Meyer but obviously Mullen was heavily involved.

And our defense knew exactly what sweater vest was running every play.

Also, that year Leak’s numbers were pretty close to 2004. Not quite as good, but close.

And OSU runs almost all zone defense back then, with better players that is easier to defeat, not to mention our D shutting them down and them making stupid penalties. They were celebrating their (they held to get it) first TD that they injured one of their players. Entitled type activities while the Gators just went to work on them. It was one of the best memories of games I have.

Oh.... OK.

Then I guess we need to repaint the fvkking stadium to reflect our 1997, 2007 and 2009 championships. Those idiots wrote 1996, 2006, and 2008 on the stadium. What morons.

They injured their star offensive weapon, Ted Ginn, Jr. His teammate was attempting the secret yet dreaded “Buck Nut Handshake”

Yes that was the player I mentioned and video evidence showed a hold that the officials missed that should have eliminated that score. I have not seen such a dominating performance against a decent team by the Gators since. Bama might have some this year.

He mentioned the game not the season. Why are you so bent out of shape over a complete nothingburger???

I want SO BADLY to see the Gators win a CFP title, undefeated, with an average margin of victory at 40 ppg, in the next 2-3 years... just so I can find out what you will then choose to complain about. Don’t disappoint me, donkey.

I'm sure there are exceptions, but just about every post where DM is referred to as "Cousin Eddie", it's by a poster who is openly and constantly critical of hiring DM. So I call Bullshiit, 99% of the time, "Cousin Eddie" is meant to be derisive.
