I think everyone should listen to the post-game presser, where these comments were made to get all of it in context.

After what the Gator Nation has been through for 8 years, any criticism of the fans is not a good approach by anyone. These coaches are lucky anyone shows up at all with the horrific, disgusting offenses that have been put on display. Today was an unpleasant reminder of the Chimp and Butters era's.

Yeah sorry Danny boy but our fans have watched enough ball control offense led by a **** QB.

Want fans then roll out a better product.

But then it’s a chicken/egg situation. So you’re not going to show up for DM because WM and JM sucked? Then just call it a day because nothing can ever change for the better.

The last time these fans rolled out, we were beating what’s currently a Top 5 team. Since then we’re 1-1. No excuse for not showing up.

Agree that any reference to the fans, whatever was meant and/or interpreted, should remain unsaid after that display. That said, he has a point, but the reality is that part of the rebuild is winning back the fan base. We all know in our hearts that it won't be done or at least will be delayed with losses to the Missouri's of the SEC, especially when the effort level didn't appear to be at the same level to what was put forth against a far better team the previous week.

No amount of fans will help 13 go through his progressions and make accurate throws.

Can't make excuses after that display. He needs to own this and get it fixed. The last thing he should be worried about are the fans, regardless of how pathetic the showing was.

I really thought this game would be packed. It’s unfortunate that there wasn’t a bigger crowd. The student section is disappointing.

The fans aren't the one's letting Missouri score at will. If we didn't show up Mullen wouldn't have a huge contract. He needs to earn his money

A lot of "here we go again" set in after the uga loss, after this one I bet the place is half empty for the chickens and potato people.

Fan base has seen this show before, it's going to take a lot of big wins to get people full on board again.

I think we will have some empty seats for the non FSU and Georgia games until we show we are truly back - especially with how fans and students are now.

I rarely quote you because you are who you are. But is it your contention that the crowd noise had nothing to do with Burrows throwing the pick-6 to end the game a month ago?

I’m not dismissing the coaches and their part. But to pretend that the fans have no bearing on things is completely at odds with what a Spurrier has said many times.

We played like garbage all day. But even if we’d played great, the fans situation is still a problem.

Yeah blame it on the crown and lack of noise in the stadium instead of taking responsibility for not having the team prepared. 2 blown coverage plays resulted in 14 points.

Also we will not compete for championships until you and you're staff start recruiting like a championship team instead of recruiting the way you are now.

Fans get tired of seeing the same old same old from Frank's and you do nothing about it. Were tired of the lack of creativity from your offense which consists of mostly throws behind the LOS and running towards the left.

Do you're job before calling out the fans. If and when you ever put an offense on the field that's worth spending our hard earned money on dont call us out. Earn your money that you get paid and stop blaming us

What’s the old saying: “winning cures everything.”

I do have concerns in how this game play, a smaller crowd, and the stadium empty in the 4Q will affect the top recruits in attendance.

So now fan attendance determines wins and titles? Silly me, I always thought it was the other way around. He's quickly burning all the good will he's built.

So, by that reasoning we shouldn't expect much winning in away games?
Football transpires on the gridiron not in the stands.
Mullen's mind is befouled by his team's poor showing. He gets a wad of blame for not recognizing that Franks is too unreliable to depend on. Depending on Franks is a slippery slop. Who can QB the team better? = I think QB Toney, had he been practiced, developed would lead this team to more wins.
If Trask has better accuracy than Franks, the coaching should have been dedicated to him. Truthfully, I don't see any other choice but to develop Trask & EJ.

Crowd was d-e-a-d from the start today. Bad turnout at kickoff that filled in fairly nicely, but the atmosphere was like an early season Mountain West game.
