That's more fire in 30 seconds that Mcstankelfcvk had in his entire time here.

i like his fire here. Clearly he’s fed up with some of these players attitudes

Now if he can knock the Butters loser mentality out of these guys and light a fire under their asses we may have something. He needs to make an example out of someone.

Folks underestimate what he took over. Very disappointed with all 3 losses, but he’s still doing much better than I thought he could with this team. I’m with BMF in that as many upperclassmen that want to leave the better. This is a total rebuild and the guys that have adopted the loser mentality need to go sooner rather than later.

I have no idea whether Mullen is the answer or not--I wasn't a huge fan of the hire and the last two losses have taken the shine off the good that had been done vs LSU and Vandy--but I will say this: his attitude and fire here is *exactly* what I want to see in a coach.

Great coaches are competitors first and foremost and when they lose, they're fired up and want to immediately get out there and get to work. I hope he brings this fire and passion to practice this week and reminds them that this is the team that crushed Tennessee, beat LSU, and came back vs Vandy.

The absolute hardest thing to do for a coach is motivate players who don’t want to be motivated. That’s when you start benching kids.

Id rather see walkons playing. whomever gives 100% every play. bench the others and encourage them to leave.

First years are so sloppy. It's why you really can't draw conclusions. NSD looms.

Here’s the entire post game conference. One thing I love about him is that he hates losing. Just never got that with Mac.

He talks about why he has started Franks over Trask. A lot of people have wanted to know why. Well, he tells you.

That brings up a good point....If you don't like losing with someone else's players then let's see you go WIN some big recruiting battles, Dan....18th ranked classes won't cut it from here on out.

I'm inclined to believe there was something that happened either in practice, off field, or between players this past week based on these comments and the total lack of energy on the field yesterday.....

Again...let me preface even after yesterday I think he is generally moving us in the right direction but your post about losing makes little sense to me. If he hated losing so much why stay at miss st for 9 yrs?
