For reference. Here are similar post game interviews back to back:

I'D rather listen to the most annoying sound in the world from Dumb and Dumber than...wait. butters is the most annoying sound in the world.

First of all could we stop posting any video of that jackass. Second of all if that same jackass could convince even a two star to come to UF, then Mullen should be able to fill next class with world beaters.

Watched Mullen's entire presser. He says all the right things. The two that stood out to me were. Being a champion is not a sometimes thing, and you're either a competitor or you're not. In the same presser, he made excuse after excuse for Frank's and even indicated that he's starting because he comes to practice on time and shows up early in the morning. Those things are irrelevant. You can either play or you can't. Hope Dan's actions match his words.

You can harp on the teams effort , defense yadda yadda yadda. But you have to be able to play in high scoring games. You can't do that without a QB.

For some reason he doesn’t want to trash Franks, probably because he truly believes he’s his best chance at winning and that Franks is a mental midget and doesn’t take criticism well. Once we get to the Fsu game all bets are off, don’t think Mullen will care then. If Franks is playing poorly, think he’ll yanks his ass because how big that game is and for the fact it will be the last game Franks will have any chance to get on the field here as a QB. He’ll likely try to transfer after Xmas or the spring. EJ will get the bowl game and Trask will play in mop up time.

It happens whether you plan on it or not. Under Butters we had one good drive every half....under Mullen we have about 2 sustained drives every half but we seem to be a little better in the red zone. We also seem to do a decent job when we go tempo.....so one has to ask, why aren't we using it more often? It doesn't do a damned bit of good to try and "manage the clock" once you're down especially when it's by more than one score.....

Not a damned poster on this board had illusions of having a 2008 or 2012 defense this year so why play like we do? Let er rip, Dan and see where the chips fall.

I thought it was a fascinating press conference. I liked most of it and was annoyed with some of it. He was disheveled and pissed. I wish we could hear the truth about what these coaches are thinking but they obviously can't say it. To me, the group he was most critical of was the offensive line - his disdain for that group comes through in his tone.

Personally I think when they watch the film they will realize that Franks was worse than they thought. The press conference today should be interesting.

His comments on Franks are perplexing to say the least. He is god awful and kills all offensive momentum. I really hope Dan doesn’t ride or die his first season with this guy as his qb

or an offensive line, or recievers that want to go after the ball (Swain obviously will) there is a lot of want to be great, but not wanting to work to be great in these players from what we see on the field.
