or an offensive line, or recievers that want to go after the ball (Swain obviously will) there is a lot of want to be great, but not wanting to work to be great in these players from what we see on the field.
Yeah but a good qb elevates the play of those around him. Funny how shcitty the line has gotten once they gave up on Franks. And I'm not bashing the kid in a personal way, only a very select few can play QB at this level.

Our receivers attempts to make a play for the ball is awful this year. Jefferson on multiple occasions.

Feleipe is image. Feleipe is style over substance. The dudes like him enough. The girls swoon. His measurables are impressive. His arm is a cannon. His ego is massive (“I want to be better than Tom Brady,” after getting blown out). He’s just not any good IRL (in real life). He’s got a good avatar but there’s nothing of substance behind it. Give me a 5’7” Flutie clone over this clown any day.

We need to Find us a QB who can ball out even after Fred Johnson misses his assignment.

Our line was has been schitty all season, just teams now have enough game tape for tendencies. They know how the coaches are going to call the game with our talent, they know what kind of pressure affects Franks the most, they know most of our receivers don't want to do the dirty work, the TE's are for blocking, etc... No one is saying Franks is SEC caliber, but you replace Franks and you still have a shell of an offense. We are still at least 2 recruiting cycles away from having a functional offense for this system.
