There's never been a more overrated "defensive mind" in college football, ever. I don't give a shcit what the stats say. When teams wanted to score ,they scored. And only once he put a solid defense on the field while he was here. And that was with meyer's recruits and Dan Quinn coaching em. His defenses at USCe haven't been very good.
Yes let's not use empirical data to form our opinion he sucks because you say
So. His defenses at Scar improved dramatically from 95 the year before he was hired to 66 in 17 to 44 last year in total D. This year its 74 but they're ravaged by injuries on D especially in the secondary like us. His recruiting on defense is getting better with each passing year. Still sucks as a hc though.

But, to my point that you maneuvered right around, he is a good enough defensive coach to know how to shut down a one trick pony offense led by a true freshman.
Well, he was DC with Saban who is a micro manager, not credit there. He was DC at Texas with a top 5 recruiting class and the teams went right down the tubes. At Miami with Saban, his defense was ranked 15th and he was not invited to Bama when Saban was there. While at Florida he had two great DCs. I will always believe he was overrated DC. As far as being smart enough to shut down a one trick pony show we'll find out.

Come on Omar, even Chalky White agrees with me :). But as far as not knowing what I'm talking about you may have a point. I might be biased against the no good fraud because he took Florida into the abyss from which we have not yet dug our way out of and have lost all objectivity.

Wrt to the dolphins

With the Dolphins, Muschamp was the Assistant Head Coach in charge of defense and was responsible for calling the defense on game day. Miami posted a 9-7 record and finished the year with a six-game winning streak. Under Muschamp, the Miami defense was among the league's top 10 in yards per play (4.7, 7th), yards per rush (3.7, 7th) and yards per pass (6.0, 9th) and were second in the NFL in sacks with 49. Two Miami defensive players, LB Zack Thomas and DE Jason Taylor were named to the Pro Bowl, while CB Sam Madison was named an alternate.

Auburn Names Will Muschamp Defensive Coordinator - Auburn
The next year they were worse and Saban admitted he should've made WM his D.C. instead of capers.

I agree he's a terrible HC. He's #2 in woat hires in my book as a gator fan. But as a DC. Sign me up with him, Kirby and quinn. Hell I'd hire DJ Durkin tomorrow as safety coach. WM finds talent on defense like Saban

No thanks. Couldn’t even stop a 3rd and 25 with his job on the line. Once a chump, always a chump.

What you should use is empirical data that shows Duncecap, even as the DC, destroyed every team and specifically every offense he has touched since his days at Barn with Tuberville and Texass with Mack Brown.

Make no mistake about it, Dunceball got Tuberville and Brown fired, both of whom had dynamic offenses before that piece of shyt arrived on campus.

So are you predicting a big win for the Gators?

You're actually defending the Georgia Southern loss? That's certainly something I never thought I'd see.
