Well to be fair, two dozen of them may play apart as well. But generally yes. Better places routinely clean their hoses. But at most places, they don’t. So the regulars like Bud Light are usually ok because of use. Anything that’s an occasional pour, no good.

I read it somewhere years ago and saw some of it firsthand when I worked at a TGIF during school.

Another useful tip. Unless there’s a prison sentence or gruesome death attached for refusing, never eat at a TGIF. I don’t care if they say one lucky patron tonight may win a million dollars, you say thanks but no thanks and you get the hell out of there.

Best beer I've ever tasted was a sublime pilsner called Dinkelacker. Unfortunately it's no longer available in the US but is apparently very popular in Bavaria. A German lady of my acquaintance thought it was the "bestet beir von Deutschland" and that everything else was "scheisse wasser." I also enjoy authentic British beers and ales as well. Danish "Elphant" is really good too. Irish Harp is very malty but if you like stouts and such, it's definitely worth a try.

In the eyes of some, craft brew means IPAs and Bananas-Foster-Stouts. Not knocking them because that’s what they’re widely known for. But it prevents them from even looking at some really great lagers, ales, etc because of the word association.

Oddly enough, Yuengling actually is craft beer to an extent. It’s mass produced but was virtually unknown outside of certain regions 25 years ago. It’s the Sierra Nevada of lagers. At the end of the day, who cares what the label is? Enjoy the beer you like.

You’re right about Yuengling. They didn’t even sell it in Ohio until the last decade, and the damn state borders Pennsylvania.

IPAs are horrible, but I’ve been saying that on record for a while now. I’m a little spoiled because the Tampa Bay Area has turned into one of the best craft brew areas in the country over the last five years. I still do like Yuengling, but it’s rare that I buy it anymore.

Stouts are one of the few areas I think American craft brews have gone off the rails. I’m as guilty as the next guy and have tried many different concoctions. But I really don’t like all the varietals I’ve seen. Save the double chocolate, pecan pie stouts aged in bourbon barrels with midgets roasting marshmallows over the top, and just give me a regular solid stout.

We love beer. When we remodeled we put a Kegerator in the kitchen. My contractor and his guys thought it was the coolest thing ever. We have a pretty cool brewery scene here and most of them sell kegs. I just put in a keg of Mathew's Florida Hop Juice yesterday and put in an order for a keg of Nobo Hefeweizen today.

To my taste, the best beer I have ever had. Good in bottles, but amazing on draft. Occasionally I can find it here under the label "Czechvar," but while good, it doesn't seem quite the same.

To my taste, the best beer I have ever had. Good in bottles, but amazing on draft. Occasionally I can find it here under the label "Czechvar," but while good, it doesn't seem quite the same.

Gas Station. Havent heard that term in awhile. Or even seen one. I rarely go in cause my card does the transaction. But in a small town like Brooker it is the source for alchohol tobacco and lottery tix. And many dont have cards and pay cash to run the pump. Or a single beer or soda or energy drink. Candy and now have sandwiches and salads even. Sort of a poor mans WAWA.

I bag on sours like some here bag on IPA's. It's just not my taste. I've had one that was decent(actually a home brewer I know), but even that wasn't something I wanted to keep drinking. I feel the same with some of the heavier Belgian-style Tripels. I can do some of them, but am rarely left with the feeling that I immediately want another upon finishing. That's usually my gauge because if I like something, I almost have to actively stop myself from having more and more.
