I hope they can translate the outside shooting to actual games especially Cheese and Hill. That will help open up the inside game.

Allen has had 2 underwhelming scrimmages. I hope he doesn't hit the sophomore slide.

I'm pretty excited to see Keith Stone, he looks like he may be the real deal from some of the highlights I've seen.

Going to be a fun year boys, just need Hill and Chiozza to play smart and we will be legit.

What do ya'll think for a starting lineup? Hill, Allen, Egbunu, Robinson, Stone? Or does Barry get the nod? We don't have a lot of options for big guy rotation, which has me a bit concerned.

I think think its hill Allen barry robinson egbunu. I just don't see barry coming off the bench. He could have gone just about anywhere. And from what white says, Robinson, stone and Leon are all battling for the starting spot which leads me to believe barry is starting at the 3. Ill be curious to see how big our rotation is.

I think it will be Hill, Allen, Barry, Robinson, and Egbunu.

I personally think Stone is one of our best players and should start, but with the way Barry and Robinson have played they will probably get the nod for experience reasons.

I think it's great that we essentially have starter quality players at every position for our backups. We will be running a lot of full court run and gun style that White has wanted to. I love that we can basically use two teams of 5 and have little drop off. Pushes everyone to be better. Minute distribution will be very interesting this year.

I think UF's best starting line up is probably: Hill, Allen, Leon, Robinson and Egbunu. I expect Hill, Chiozza, Allen, Barry, Leon, Robinson, Egbunu and Hayes to all get starter or near starter minutes and to be the 8 man rotation in March with the possibility that Stone can get into the mix.

I am not a big fan of weakening yourself on the boards and going 3 guards. I believe that each of UF's final four teams had a SF like Brewer, Miller, etc. rather than playing three guards.

My big concern is the PF spot. If Leon or Robinson start at the 4 we are giving up a lot defensively as those guys can't guard traditional PF size players (giving yp a lot of weight). But, they could be a mismatch on he offensive side of the ball. I do like that White has several options.

Also the article said FTs % went down this scrimmage. Barry must not have converted the other guys to underhand technique.

Allen should be fine but I hope our center can become more of a factor scoring wise.

Yep, unfortunately, Rimmer's gonna have to play some minutes again this year.

At 6'6" Barry's plenty big enough to play the 3 but we really don't know what we have with him and stone yet. Gonna be interesting to see how it plays out. I worry more about how small our guards are. Hopefully Barry can give us some at the 2.

Certainly, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Small guards was the potential weakness of the 06 and 07 Championship teams. No one was really able to exploit it though Mississippi State tried once at a game up there. At least UF is not playing a 5'8" or smaller player these days.

Robinson and Leon are pretty light, but if UF goes up against a really big teams, Hayes and Egbunu could be a good pairing.

I hope so....hell, 20+ wins would be nice. I noticed only 1 SEC team in the top 25 preseason polls (Kentucky). UF is next in "others receiving votes" (around 35 or so). Sucks we lose so many home games.

Is anyone planning to attend the "home" games in Jacksonville and around the state?
