If he beats Urbs and makes the playoff, I see him sticking around to try and get the team/boys/ a championship. He's having fun. And they have him on a pedestal there, he goes back to the pros, a lot tougher dealing with big contract men.
Word on the street is we will be paying Mac 4 mil a year to be the Raiders QB coach.Didnt have time to read the article, but it didnt happen to mention some teams trying to prepare a deal for coach Mac did it?

Yea, I could see him turning that cleveland team around.
Dude, you need to post more. You're one of the funniest guys here. Even I am getting tired of reading my crap.Didnt have time to read the article, but it didnt happen to mention some teams trying to prepare a deal for coach Mac did it?
Yeah it must suck to be a great coach that has won big on every level.....Makes me wonder how Fooley never even thought about contacting him....Especially since everyone on the planet knew he was leaving the 49er's for over a year. Must have been too busy over seeing the Womens Volleyball program.....Probably right but being in position to name his price in the NFL isnt a bad place to be. Besides, Crete has much man love for him.
No recruit is going to come play for a interim coach. That would have been a disaster.I guess that is in response to me. Keeping DJ or some other interim (Travaris) would have improved recruiting.
Hiring a staff full of FIU, FAU, and EKU shyt is what destroyed recruiting.

You never know unless you ask. It was widely known that JH was done at SF......My speculation is that Foley was more distraught about having to tell his friend Muschamp what was inevitable and panning the tear filled suckfest of a firing for him...Harbaugh was never coming here. Fooley can't be criticized for that.
I am however astonished that Fooley didn't understand the need to make a homerun hire. Yeah, I know, there were no homeruns available (for 2.5 mil or less). That was Fooley's job, find a homerun hire and make it impossible to say no, as Bammer and Meatchicken did when they knew they needed a great hire.
Barring that, I believe he should have kept DJ as an interim and waited until a homerun hire became available, ala Ohio State.
Hiring another 21-17 Mushstank was unfathomable.
