Any kid who picks FAU over UF isn't smart enough to learn the playbook anyway.
Any parent that let's their kid play for a raging dooshbag like Kiffin should be shot. I can't believe that we have people here who wanted him for our coach.

How can you be fired from a job you've already quit? :scratchhead:

He hasn't quit. He took a job paying like 1/3 as much. So he wanted to drag it out but I'm sure he was also trying to recruit for FAU.

And he is a douchenozzle.

I have to think Saban will be actively involved in the playcalling, no?
Im sure he approves everything, and edits. He also gives says he gives them general commands during the game like "power run". He seems like too much of a micromanager NOT to be very involved but his offenses have looked very, very different through the years from the Terry/Tommy Bowdenesque pro-style spread stuff he ran at LSU with Fisher, to the just pound the middle with Butters and Nusschamp, to the college style spread (pretty evenly mixed) he is running now (which BTW isn't at all what Kiffy has every run either).

Look at his personnel over the years. The offense changes with what he has available to him, it's why he's the best.

They arent that good on offense really. They can run the ball but they dont trust their QB to throw. That really makes the defenses job easier.

If Clemson can keep Bama from running it up the gut on their defense I think they probably win this game.

You know, there is something to this. So many people are running that junior high QB keeper offense now in HS that it makes it really hard to find a pocket passer and when you do he may well need a lot of work.

You know the office job is doing like 100 hours of film work a week and making reviews/recommendations of upcoming defense and Bammers offensive plays and game plans, right? The OC then finalizes it but the skeleton is there (sometimes with competing recommendations).

They actually have more interaction w the players bc of all the crazy NCAA rules about practice time limits.
You should probably have your own radio show to correct the talking heads that don't know anything. I was just repeating the topic of the day from those guys.

You're right, but it's a bit of an odd comment coming from you. We found a guy just like that, and you've been one of the loudest critics.

@McMurphyESPN
Lane Kiffin on @MikeAndMike said Alabama is checking to see if he can be on sidelines or press box for @CFBPlayoff title game

1. There seems to be a pattern with Kiffie's departures.
2. I think he's full of **** on the press box deal. He never tires of trying to make himself look good. Especially when he looks really really bad, which is most of the time.

Who knows what the AssKiff is doing. But here is what I think is interesting. So Sarkisian is an analyst. Are they allowed on the field or in the box during games?? We know Sark was for the Peach Bowl, Playoff Semi while Kiffin was calling plays. That's where they caught him eating his boogers on live TV. I don't think the Kiffmeister will show up there but if the analysts are not allowed Kiffin shouldn't be. And if not, Sark should have never been in that box last weekend.

After that game the other day and seeing Bamas offense looking out of sync, I was wondering if Kiffin was the issue due to him not being totally 100% focused on Bamas preparation for the game due to his new job. Saban is definitely making the right call here, I was even starting to lean to picking Clemson, but not now. Everyone in the Bama organization will be 100% focused on this game now. Saban usually makes all the right moves like Belichick does.

Kiffin never struck me as the kind of guy who would give 100% in any role, let alone a lame-duck one. He's the quintessential rich brat who gets by in life on his dad's reputation and connections. He thinks he has some kind of charm with people, which makes him even more obnoxious. Nobody likes him when they meet him, and he gnaws on your nerves more and more over time. Normally mild-manered men are willing to walk for miles just to take a swing at the guy. It's going to be funny to see him deal with the blunt, transplanted New York a-holes in Boca Raton. They're even more obnoxious and even less charming than him.

I know some here fear The Kiff effect but I think he is a serial cheater and will never create anything of value at FAU. He may make a splash but time will prove that he will get them on probation.

Does anyone from NY go to FAU? It always felt like a community college to me, well beneath the transplanted New Yorksey types. They all seem to run around wearing JETS JETS JETS gear. Hell I don't know if I've even seen anyone wearing FAU gear down there. Most of those snowbirds didn't bring their children.
