I cannot enjoy myself as a Gator fan dedicating myself to our Gators' gloom and doom.
I will always look forward to seeing orange & blue uniforms running over opponents and
fleet O&B WRs racing downfield. Bring on our 2017 season.

Must have been in a coma since the end of '08...cause we haven't been doing any of those things you've mentioned since then

Questions:
Do you blame pumpers (on this site) for the state of the football program?
Why all the hate toward anyone with a positive attitude?
Were you abused as a child?
How tall are you?
Dude, I literally laughed out loud at "How tall are you?" That's great stuff. Thanks.

That's blatant 'doomnitude'. Gators Perrine & Scarlett have run over tacklers. Cleveland & Callaway have
made some exciting catches. Although too many here champion talking us out of savoring the 2016 plays
that so many of us jumped from our chairs in cheering for ole O&B last season and Outback.??

Actually, we've caught up on scholarship numbers since Mac has been here. I have seen a few different articles that all claim we only have 24 scholarships to give this cycle.

https://www.seccountry.com/florida/...l-recruiting-national-signing-day-projections

Since we played this year with 74 or so, I dont know how you say we've caught up. You mean we could catch up if we land 10 more? Even so, we will lose a substantial number over the summer, always do.

Those are some FVKKED UP target numbers. They look pretty Muschimpish.

The numbers I usually see are

QB-4
TB-4
TE-4
OT-8
OG-8
C-3
WR-8

DE-8
DT-8
LB-12
CB-8
S-8

That gives you 3 to play with, maybe STs. Many teams don't have punters on scholarships and basically none have a LS.

There are plenty of fat on that roster to be trimmed, the Justus Reeds, Andrew Mikes, Kalif Jacksons and Moral Stephens of the world need to find something they are good at or find another home. Too many on the roster that just aren't talented enough and will never contribute. Cut the cord.

According to this article, after the players leaving early for the NFL the Gators have 24 empty scholarship spots available to get to 85.

I agree though, we will inevitably lose players over the offseason.

If only I was. I'd still likely have less brain damage from whatever caused the head trauma, than what damage Foley has done to my emotions for 7 years (not to mention the times I've alienated people from my superlative cursing displays when I watch Gator Football with company. "Company" is slowly dwindling to my dog.

Per The Bowl -- Clemson, Georgia, USCw, and Oregon have been making a late push for Malik Davis. Though it doesn't sound like we are in any danger of losing him based on Malik's comments.

I haven't been shy to tell others that I think the kid is a baller, and compares farvorably to where Scarlett was at this stage of his development (though a bit different in running style).

5* Clemson target....could he actually end up a Muschamp?

@atxlete: Welp... This will most definitely effect my recruitment.

http://247sports.com/Player/Xavier-Thomas-81258

I hope we're on him.

If he goes to Chimp, he will get moved to DT in a year or two. He also lists us in his top interests. He'd be a super nice addition to our class. Recruited by Rumph.

I'd MUCH rather have a true Strong DE--we don't really have one but CeCe could grow into one if he put on 20-30 lbs-- and it would be a much bigger get for our class than a RB, receiver or a safety.

Great find!

“He was just telling me that whoever is going to be the coach is going to be a great coach,” he said on McElwain’s message about the offensive line position. “He said that the coach will get me better and help me get to the NFL.”

While McElwain and Moore were eating dinner the Gators head coach had his phone ringing with coaches wanting the position and that put the lineman’s mind at ease.

When we were sitting down coach was telling me about the all of the NFL guys that are trying to get the job and that are calling him,” Moore said. “The Saints, Chargers, and Giants coaches were calling him trying to get the job. So whoever it’s is going to be a great person and I’m not worried about who it will be.”

Mehhh.... sorry. I know you like the kid. I won't lose any sleep if he jumps. If he is concerned about depth chart here I dont know why Clemson or Ugly would interest him.

LMAO

You buy that ****? Really? If it were an NFL coach than he would have been hired by now as I don't think we are getting anyone from the Packers, Falcons, Pats, or Steelers....

You ever sell anything to a person and you need to get it sold fairly quickly and you've had few buyers with low-ball offers? Yeah you tell the next person that there are a lot of people interested so that guy gets put on the spot and quickly pulls the trigger at the advertised price. This is no different; keeping Moore engaged while he raids a Sun Belt team for a coach

Your right. If it's true they were calling then great. If they weren't calling then that my friend is Selling with a capital S.
