I wonder if anyone will ask him why his offense has such a hard time beating FCS teams every year?

That quote was a shot at UF. He does have a point. Most offenses in the SEC are boring.

I agree with him. Lack of coaches with an offensive imagination is why the SEC East is so terrible right now.

I love Mike Leach, but did he talk about why his vaunted offense only scored 12 points against Minnesota in the bowl game?
Iowa's the only team that scored less against the Gophers (7).

We sound collectively like some dude who hasn't gotten laid in a decade. We're willing to sleep with any stanky b*tch who shows some skin. Leach is a whack job. His teams give up more points than they score. Last time I recollected, the first priority was to score more points than the other guy.

History says I wouldn't. This guy can't even win in the Big 12 or Pac 12. He's 1-2 against FCS opponents at Wazzou. His vaunted offense managed 12 points against a team that boycotted for half their bowl break. He'd get run out of this conference inside of three years.

I seem to remember him doing very well at Texas Tech. And a la SOS, he could coach the offense and leave the D in the hands of a good DC. Look what that got us 20 years ago: Our first national title.
