Now that the dust has settled and somehow, miraculously, despite the suckitude of our program and coaches (sarcasm intended) we ended up with a top 10 class. So I figure before we have 20 other threads highlighting that we still suck, we could be more efficient and just have one. Everyone can post in this thread the "Yah, we had a top 10 recruiting class BUT......."

I'll start,

Yah, we had a top 10 recruiting class, but we still dont have new coaches.

I have no complaints. Mac did well considering the shyte product he's put on the field. He has talent. Can he do something with it?

This pretty much sums up what no pumper will acknowledge. No matter how good of a class we recruit, as long as we hire substandard coaches like Nord and Nussmeier and any other FIU/FAU rejects we pulled out of a raging dumpster fire, we won't be elite. If you don't have elite coaches who can help these players grow, all the top 10 signing classes in the world won't help you do anything except beat the crappy SECE so that we can get curb stomped in the championship game.

Mac's best day as our HC. Was a great day for the program. We won Florida back. Half our class came from South Florida.

In his presser, he talked about how important it was to win the state in recruiting.

Win the state and you'll compete for championships.

I was really surprised by the ranking of this class, BUT.............

HIRE SOME COACHES
Start recruiting tomorrow for 2108.
Is it too much to ask to go ahead and replace Nussy.
And for the love of God, show Nord the effin' Door.

Im sorry but this isnt even close to being true.

Want to look at the Top20 in Fla again? 30? 50?

Maybe we won some of south Florida, over Richt, but we sure as fvkk didnt win Florida back.

We signed a top 10 class but we got damn lucky to do it. We had a baker's dozen committed while our rivals were waiting on just a few NSD decisions.
This day could've easily been one of the worst we've ever seen in regards to our football program. Don't know about the rest of you, but I'd prefer the strategy Bama and UGA used. Their coaches probably slept in and went to breakfast before strolling in at 10:00am to see if all their commits had sent in their LOIs by 9:00am as directed.

We beat Miami and Florida State by bringing in more players in the top 50 and top 100 in the state. When is the last time we did that? Four years ago? Five years ago?

And don't give me that crap about IMG players.

I'm sure Mac prefers that as well. That definitely has to change.
