28 fouls for us. 25 for them. Damn that was brutal officiating. Glad we came out on top

Best stat:

Florida went 37-42 FTs with our two best FT shooters missing 2 each. Egbunu even looked great at the line

Any update on Egbunu?

I didn't get to watch the game as I was teaching an evening MBA course. I checked the score at our midpoint break of the class and it was tied 50 to 50. Almost randomly called for another break later in the class as I was sweating the game in the back of my head. As soon as I told them they could leave, I grabbed my phone and was frantically searching for the score. LOL

Well at this point I've bought into Coach White and I feel comfortable with him now at the helm of this program....He's starting to get that Billy Donavan intensity which I didn't think was possible with another coach....

Going for an MRI tomorrow, wasn't in much pain after the game. White said that means nothing and the MRI is going to determine the severity of the injury

Good energy, especially in the 2nd half.

What did we do to piss off the SEC refs?

Great win but we have to work on our defense. Auburn was making alot of crazy contested shots. We still have 5 tough games left where I think we could lose any one of them cause we play 3 games on the road and we play teams that are VERY HUNGRY and DESPERATE to win and make the NCAA Tourney. SC needs to win to work on their seeding and try to win the SEC. UK is AT Rupp and they will be pissed that we already DESTROYED them. Miss St is on the road but we SHOULD win but again its on the road. Ark is trying to win to work on their seeding in the NCAA Tourney. We play AT Vandy and we just don't match up well against them for whatever reason the last few games against them. Those are the last 5 games. On our final 8 games stretch we are 3-0 so far with the 5 games left so we just have to take them one at a time. Go Gators!!

Anytime you win on the road against a decent team it is a good win. I am not thrilled about giving up 95 points... even if we scored 114, but obviously am glad we got the win.

I am definitely worried about Egbunu. He is a key piece to our D and we absolutely need him if we have any chance of making a run in March. Last I heard is he walked off the court (which doesn't mean anything) and is getting an MRI today. Fingers crossed it is just a sprain.

I'm not too worried about the 95 points as long as it's a one time thing. We were down 2 Cs with our backup and walkon backup in foul trouble and next biggest player Stone fouling out with 7+ min left and only playing 6 min. To add to all that the rest of the team had 4 or 3 fouls and had to forget playing defense because the refs didn't want to see anyone get within 2 feet of a player. So with no big man in the middle and not being able to play defense because the refs sucked, they got a big lead and then had to out shoot Auburn to the end. The other alternative was try and play defense, but risk ending the game with 5 or 4 players (probably all guards)

When refs are whistle happy, players don't play defense with the same intensity. This shooting performance will give enormous confidence to this Gator Offense, especially come tourney time.

There were some spectacular dunks from Hayes and DRob last nights game. Severe anger issues with the rim.....
