Predictable thread but felt like he deserves his own thread. I've been VERY critical of him throughout his career but man has he improved drastically. He plays great D, has stopped turning the ball over, and his shot has even improved immensely.

What an amazing night, really happy for the guys and Chiozza especially. Also, he needs to supplant Hill asap.

I'm most proud of Barry... he came in and led when the rest of the team had basically given up. That sprint and block when the rest of the D quit was just as huge as chiozzas shot.

This! All of this. That team looked done, burnt, toast, gassed and most of all, content. Barry gave them the light of fire they needed.

Genius strategy by White to save Barry for OT when Wiscy would be gassed

I'm not sure why Hill starts over Cheese. Basically when Hill is in the game he should be told he's not allowed to handle the ball at all. He needs to be told he's only allowed to play defense

Regarding hill, sometimes I truly wonder if the dribble drive, turnover, flop is an actual called play. Seriously.

Really incredible after he was basically a liability for most of the game. But you knew when we tightened up he would be the guy to make clutch plays. White knew it too and had him in when it mattered.

Why did White sit Allen so long late in the 2nd half? Why did we play the, "run the clock out" game way too early in the 2nd half?

:dunno:

I do like that after the game he said they should have fouled Showalter at the end of reg. Glad he recognized that.

Why not foul when up by 3 with time running out? Why is Private Pyle holding that weapon? Why are you not stomping Private Pyle's guts out?

The progression he's shown over his career and even just during the course of this season is incredible. Can't wait for him to be our full time PG next year.

I thought cheese's defense on Koenig was the catalyst that changed the game in our favor in the first half.

What a game:

1. I agree Barry's play was just as big.

2. If If If, Robinson second chance 3 goes or Allen does not get strip out front for an easy basket or Hayes hits his regular amount of FTs, had the officials not let the Wisconsin player go over the back of UF players each miss late in the game etc UF wins in regulation. Even if UF holds the ball rather than Allen going for a quick score out of the time out, UF may well win in regulation.

3. Hill despite his weakness can be and has been very good too and he will continue to start until this season is over. My feeling is that in the second half of this season Chiozza has shown us that UF is fine at PG for next season.
