Well, Lil Jimbob Bowdenbastard didnt take the most talented offense in history and score 6 points vs Grasseater while running up the middle 60 straight times.

Didn't the Jimbo-coached offense get beat AT HOME 14-10 against the Fighting Zookers back in '04?

If that's not an indictment of Jimbo's lack of coaching ability, I don't know what is.

**EDIT**. Due to the consumption of some adult beverages last night, I was wrong on the year and the score. I'm referring to 2003 when we beat LSU at their place 19-7. Saban was HC and Jimbo was OC.

The fact that Jimbob Bowdenbastard isnt good doesnt preclude Butters from being worse.

Jimbob is a 4 loss coach without Rapeis though, no doubt.

You havent noticed the resemblance? Jimbob is from just a few hollers away from where Bowden lived in WV. Rumors are that he sometimes visited Jimbob's mama.

Jimbob grew up as a Bowden brother. Went to family functioms and the like. Not so much anymore, of course.

Uhhhh, it isnt a reach. It is pretty well know, though Jimbob was always much tighter with Tommy.

Not everyone appreciated the situation but remember that Booby Bowden was a rockstar in WV and got away with plenty.

I could be wrong, but I think that was Jeff Bowden's offense. I believe at that time Jimbo was still at LSU. The score was 20-13 Fighting Zookers.

Yeah if he coached in the SEC, but he'll continue to have good seasons where he's at because lack of consistent competition in his conference and the fact that he spanks his most hated rival on the field and in recruiting every year.

Any coach who can recruit the way Jimbo does is a "good" coach.

This comment by Saban is nothing but coach speak......Alabama opens w/ FSU this year.

He is Zook, with an ACC schedule and a buffoon coaching for his arch rival.

Dont get me wrong, I hope he stays forever.

The 2003 Gator defense says hi. The year LSU won the BCS title, they failed to score an offensive TD with Skyler Thornton (I believe that was the punt returner)giving them their only score of that ball game against UF.

I don't remember any of Saban's OC's ending a game without an offensive TD.

I had the year and score wrong. I was referring to 2003 at LSU, Zook and Company won 19-7. I gave Jimbo way too much credit when I said his offense scored 10 in my OP. Gotta forgive me on the wrong year and score, I had a few cocktails last night.
