First, please explain how any University of Florida head football coach is ever 40th in recruiting? Being ranked that low ever, at The University of Florida, is unacceptable. We should be a top ten class yearly without breaking a sweat. Second, since when is finishing 10 - 13 in recruiting at The University of Florida ever a bragging point. Mac's predecessor's were top 5 recruiters without all of the facility upgrades that Mac has the benefit of touting.

For the record, rivals actually bumped us to 9th, and we finished with 15 of 23 recruits as 4*, 7 are 3* and 1 is a 2* LB.
But yea, they are all three stars

I knew that of course, no need for Google, that was the point I was making. In making the point I tried to get people to think about what a program is or should be. Thanks for the update. I bet we would have won all those games that they did and some more if we played their schedule.
A long time ago a ND fan wanted to join the SEC, they would get destroyed and lose money to boot.

25th in his 1st class which consisted of just a couple of weeks of real recruiting time.
14th in class 2.
9th in class three.
Yup, we've really lowered expectations by not being incessantly pissed off

Being ranked 40th almost a year until NSD means nothing at all. Nothing. Like last year, I will wait until NSD before forming my opinion on the class.
I'm not "happy" with bringing in a 10th ranked class, but it's a step in the right direction from his past class.
Why are the pessimists on this board so disingenuous and dishonest?

I'm able to agree he finished strong every year but we should never be in that situation. I understand the 1st year was more difficult because of WM not recruiting his last year but pulling 2 5* players who were set on UF for a while helped him out a lot. We took anyone who would commit that year as well. If Mac recruited all year like he recruits the final month wed be in better shape but he don't. Again I'm giving Mac credit for finishing strong each year I just think we shouldn't be in that situation to have to close so strong to pull a decent class.

Yes by all means take away the people who can be honest about the state of the program so the whole board can be nothing but pumpers and when we win 8-9 games a year blame will be put on injuries or we just need a Qb and next year will be different instead of a few people who can be honest and show our displeasure with how things are going. If you can't handle the truth then by all means block all that are real so you can live in you're fantasy world of everything is OK.

Are you high or just dumb? Mac was not 40th a year before signing day. He was 40th, 35th actually, a month before singing day. There is no excuse for a UF coach to EVER be that low in the recruiting rankings.

You bet your ass he has lowered expectations. He has lowered every standard with our football program. I don't even follow recruiting and that Shyte is UNACCEPTABLE.
