So in his 53 college completions he hasn't thrown a pick.He hasn't thrown a pick and is pretty poised back there. That coach showed by all those losses his mistake in that move. That other QB never hardly came through late in close games.
The best thing however is when Zaire played in a spring game the coach didn't go way out of his way to make sure the DBs covering the receivers on those plays were 3rd stringers or literal walk ons mostly.

at Nuss or Mac developing a QB. 4 QBs have started for them and they all have struggled. What does that tell you?Because Franks should realize he came in really raw and was going to take time to develop. You may be right though, he may see it as he will never get a shot, but from his words it sounds like he's not scared to compete.
We will find out soon.
It doesn't work when you don't have the talent or coaching to make it work. Zaire has been beat out by 3 QBs. He's a backup at this levelBut competition develops players, or at least I hear that at every other position, so why is QB different?
Treon Harris threw 78 passes through the first 6 games of 2015 (sharing QB duties) without throwing an interception.
Yes, Treon Freaking Harris.

Don't forget Winbush. So I assume you're mortgaging your house on Kizer's NFL MVP trophy?
Or did you already do that with Golson's career?
No LDR makes me happyPretty pumped to see Zaire leading this team boys! Y'all are gonna get tired of all the winning we do.
I don't think Franks is ready now either. And may never be. I think the fact that we're bringing Zaire in says our QB situation is one big cluster fock.I dont think Zaire is another Treon and the biggest issue I think is Franks is possibly another Driskel train wreck as of right now. I cant remember a player ever being that protected in a Spring game before. Its like Mac made sure a 2nd string DB wouldn't even be allowed on the starting receivers he was throwing the ball to. Half of the time Mac had straight up walk-ons in the coverage. Other SEC teams weren't pulling mess like that with their starters at QB. Mac seemed to be scared what might happen I guess if he gave him a real challenge in that practice. He didn't do that with even LDR last year.
I doubt we have a good year but I think Zaire is worth an extra win or two over Franks or LDR probably.
One man's garbage is another man's treasure.
Well, Chip Kelly is going to be working at ESPN next season and he is a winner coach that I would be 1000% behind if we hired him to replace Mac. The issue is Mac winning the East twice in his first two seasons will get at least a 4th year...
