Looks like he should've stayed in school for another year. I'm surprised he went undrafted, but not shocked. I thought his potential was intriguing enough for a team to gamble on him in the 2nd round

Resident experts had him as a low 1st - high 2nd Round. Maybe they saw his tape of taking plays off?

Hope he speaks another language.

Staying in school wouldn't have helped his draft stock, how many seniors get drafted anymore? 2-4?, at least this way he gets a start on getting paid to play, even if it's in another country.

I thought somebody would take a gamble in the second for sure. I'm guessing his workouts didn't go very well.

Still has potential to make a roster, just needs to add muscle and work on ball handling. But like somebody else said, coming back probably wouldn't have mattered, he's already 22-23 years old-- it was now or never IMO.

Another guy who could make the all hotel lobby team. They talk about guys not always playing hard during a game etc. DRob unfortunately would take multiple games off in a row at a time, before showing up again. Not a good recipe. Can play somewhere but probably overseas. Good luck!

I agree but perhaps a degree and another year of having the experience including a run in the tourny is worth something to some.

He will play professionally somewhere. Hooking on with a franchise like Miami with a solid player development program would be his best path to the NBA eventually. If not, he will play many years professionally overseas.

Tremendous athleticism in some regards, but not a fluid athlete at all. Couple that with a subpar bball IQ and questionable effort, and you get this.

I think it was good for him though. Go play overseas and make some money while you can. Take summer school to finish your degree like Noah. And save as much money as possible.

Playing overseas is not the worst option. Those guys can make a really nice living for themselves. Hoping for the best for him, seems like a good kid

I said he'd go undrafted. So not all resident experts said that.

Robinson needed to work on his consistency to get drafted. Good luck to him, I hope he makes a roster but it's an uphill battle now.

I think another year could have helped him if he could perform at a high level consistently. Parsons is a great example of somebody who benefited from a senior year. So is the kid from OU (Buddy Hield)

Depends on who one follows. The NBA draft guys I listen to, none of them had him being drafted and his workouts enforced their prediction.

I think he could have been a 2nd round pick and got much more money if he stayed another year and improved his game some.

Patrick Young was about the only guy I think we had that made a big mistake staying in college too long. I think he would have been a 2nd round pick if he came out after his sophomore year.

This is our 4th straight year with no player drafted. I hope that doesn't start hurting recruiting against the bigger programs.

Kentucky has had 14 players drafted in the past 4 years.
FSU has had 3 players drafted in the past 2 years (luckily the FSU coach isn't a good game day coach)

Combination of things:
1. Hill and Walker, both 5-stars, were busts
2. We've had several solid players that just didn't have the elite game to get drafted, but came close (DFS, Young, MFII, Wilbekin, Prather, add Robinson to the list)

We've had pretty good success at building team chemistry with these solid players, but in cycles, as it takes a couple of years for teams to gel. Young, MFII, Prather, Wilbekin and Yeguette went to three Elite 8s if I'm not mistaken. Then a couple of down years due to recruiting misses and Billy taking off; now we're trending up and getting some looks from some of the elite recruits - just need to land one or two.
