can't be, almost everyone here "knows" and they said we're like 444th or something like that. we're on par with most DIII schools, right?

I refuse to believe this report :shakehead:

If they didn't build the IPF recently, we wouldn't be in the top 25. Glad some progress has been made, but it bothers me that our biggest rivals, especially FSU, have passed us in facilities. Hopefully their plans for the new complex changes that in the near future.

Found this on the 247 site, Georgia State just moved into the old Turner Field stadium (converted to a football stadium) and into a new locker room (that was the baseball team's locker room) - (I'm on my work computer and it may have blocked the pics/tweets, if so someone help me out and repost):

...at least in terms of locker room. This is where Florida needs to get to.

Why George State have a better locker room than us lol. I'm sick https://t.co/pWQC20ZiKE

Hope you're as excited as these guys about our new locker room! #BeTheChange | @GSUStadium pic.twitter.com/RVM7HjLLzU

Thanks! Pretty impressive for a mid-major program. Were there any locker room pictures? I'm curious how much money G-State had to actually put into this.
They converted turner field so they got major league locker rooms before and renovations

Ummm, I know that (read post #23). I also asked if anyone knew how much G-State had to spend to renovate/update it?

:exactly:

Right, because we have posters who not only know the extent of our facilities, but they also have comprehensive knowledge of all the other possible contending universities' facilities.

The season can't get here soon enough.

That's still a great deal for what they got (our indoor facility cost 1/3rd that amount!).
It is. I think it was a little home town discount, we were just gonna blow it up anyway type of thing. I have a friend that works in their media department and says donors are putting lots of money in to now. That's schools changed a lot the last twenty years when the students lived at home because they barely had any dorms.

No, but the former players ( and Brady Ackerman) who actually made the comments sure do. I guess it'll be good for the season to get here and we can see whether this new and improved off and shows up. However, as far as facilities go Fooley getting fired/encouraged to retire sure didn't get here quickly enough.

Yeah, anyone defending our facilities is nuts. Sure, they're not Troy or Middle Tenn State, but they sure aren't in the top half of the SEC....or ACC.....or Big Ten. Anyone that has mildly followed recruiting since Muschamp's 2nd year knows our facilities are 2nd tier (maybe even 3rd tier). Hell, anytime an IPF was brought up most Gator message boards had over half the board screaming that we don't need one...purely delusional. Once Meyer left and Muschamp F'd up the offense, UF wasn't as desirable place for recruits as it once was.

Damn, I hope we don't play them again anytime soon.
