In all seriousness, Bortles is done and Chad Henne is the new Jags starter. Yay? If Bortles plays and gets hurt, the Jags will be on the line for his entire $19 million salary in 2018. Stick a fork in him. Yet another QB bust.

And yet Kaepernick is still unemployed.
Do the Jags pull him in?

Jags fans- what about him? Too much controversy outweighs the Jax suckage?

Oh God. Kap is so hated and despised I think it would be hilarious if the Jags signed him. Not only is he an assbag, he's an awful QB. Hence, it would make perfect sense for the Jags brass to sign him immediately.

Hey Jags - "even if he's released". Eff you. :moon:

I watched about half the game against the Bucs. Haven't seen a worse offense since watching ours.

I call Doug Marrone Chump NFL version. He has the exact same philosophy. When they signed him as HC, I gave up any hope of the playoffs for the next 2-3 years.

Dave Caldwell needs to be fired asap. They brought him in and he hired Gus Bradley, tore the team down and said they were going to rebuild it the right way through the draft.

2013
Luke Joekle - gone
Johnathan Cyprian - gone
Dwayne Gratz - gone
Ace Sanders - gone
Denard Robinson - gone
Josh Evans - gone
Jeremy Harris - gone
Demetrius McCray - one

2014
Blake Bortles - soon to be bust
Marquis Lee - injured more than he plays
Allen Robinson - good receiver (not great)
Brandon Lindor - injured more than he plays
Aaron Colvin - injured more than he plays
Telvin Smith - Good player
Chris Smith - gone
Luke Bawanko - just a guy
Storm Johnson - gone

2015
Dante Fowler - so far a bust
TJ Yeldon - 4th string back
AJ Cann - just a guy
James Sample - gone
Rashaad Green - soon to be cut
Michael Bennett - just a guy
Neal Sterling - never heard of him
Ben Koyack - never heard of him

2016
Jalen Ramsey - good player
Myles Jack - we'll see
Yannick Ngakoue - good player
Sheldon Day - just a guy
Tyrone Holmes - gone
Brandon Allen - 3rd string QB
Johnathan Woodard - never heard of him

2017
Leonard Fournette - should be good if healthy
Cam Robinson - starter by default. We'll see.
Dwayne Smoot - ?
Dede Westbrook - will take Rashad Greens 4th string WR spot
Blair Brown - ? Never heard of him
Jalen Myrick - ? Never heard of him
Marquez Williams - ? Never heard of him

So in 5 drafts he got about 5 good players that start. That's building through the draft. :rolleyes3:

Tebow should have been starting there for several years now.

They simply couldn't take a chance that Tim wasn't a true NFL QB. This is a franchise with too much pride, history and potential to roll those dice.

The safer, obvious route is to go with a total bust, and then a fallback guy that was last seen being beaten out by Tebow in Denver.

Just relax. They've...they've got this.

Perhaps, it's a plan to get out of Jax.

When you hire a search firm to find your new head coach and end up hiring your crappy OL coach from within, I think that pretty much solidifies your organization's complete dysfunction

Maybe in a few years someone will pop out from behind the scenes during a game, and yell to the fans, " Surprise! You're on candid camera!" What a cruel joke that would be.

And yet a kid (with the athletic ability to pick up a sport after 10 years and do well) who is a proven leader/grew up in that area, would sell a gazillion tickets and has actually been to the playoffs and WON runs around a minor league ball park still doing what he does............
and has no beer gut.

My favorite part of the hire was when they tried to sell him as coming personally recommended by Bill Belichick.

:bwahaha:

Kyle Orton, the stiff the Bears traded to get Jay Cutler. Yeah, that's pretty sad if you're a Jax fan.
