Honestly, I thought he was dead and buried under that football sod cemetery thing they ejaculate over...

What Bowden failed to say here is more important than what he did say. Florida's struggles over the past seven years have had as much or more to do with what Fisher's done at FSU than Fisher himself. Vacuum effect.

I did not expect the Bowden => Jimbo succession to work based on the dynamics of following a legend plus the poor state of their offense when he was OC.

He has far exceeded my expectations. Yes, he caught lightening in a bottle with Winston (on the field) but he's got a solid staff & recruits well. And they gave him time despite angst in the fan base. And the media has been kissing his hair-plugged backside from the start.

But he'll need to win another to even approach the Saban/Meyer conversation. And he's got a long way to go to match Bowden's 15 consecutive years in the top 5.

That said, he's Zookish in his presentation and I cannot stand his sideline whine-face. Just giving him his due.

Florida sucking (and Miami sucking) helped jumbo big time.

Now that he is rolling he has espn coming in there broadcasting the program. We have reporters watch warm ups. See the problem? As soon as we get the O straight we need to open up everything to media to come live in Gainesville. Recruits want to be at the happening place.

Look for former Saban assistants to be 0-11 against him after that game

I think a bigger question is who does Bama hire when Saban hangs it up? Dabo is your first call. Then who?

Why would Dabo leave Clemson to follow Saban where anything but undefeated every year is going to be failure.

Uhhhh...just going to take a wild guess here...

Swinney was raised in Pelham, Alabama, and attended the University of Alabama, where he joined the Crimson Tide football program as a walk-on wide receiver in 1989. He earned a scholarship and lettered on three teams (1990–1992), including the Crimson Tide's 1992 National Championship team. During his time as an undergraduate at Alabama, Swinney was twice named an Academic All-SEC and SEC Scholar Athlete Honor Roll member.[1] In three seasons at Alabama, he caught 7 passes for 81 yards.[2] He received his degree in commerce & business administration in 1993 as well as a master's degree in business administration from Alabama in 1995.
