I don't understand why former players out their schools like this when they seemingly part ways on good terms. I'm not sure what he's trying to accomplish. I also don't see the need to brag about getting money when your father is filthy rich. Just be grateful you got the $100 bills and keep your mouth shut.

My thoughts exactly. What is he trying to accomplish?

Why would he need them?
my thought too his daddy was very rich and successful. Ace makes Texas look bad and Chris Sims look like a snitch. I wonder if this tanks their big ears with Vince Young when they beat USC for the national title in the Rose Bowl in the greatest college championship game ever. I bet his former coach and teammates are not happy with this. But don't worry his father won't say Redskins for Washington Redskins he's gone snowflake on us. smh.

Shows just how out of touch Texas boosters are. They're giving $100 bills to a kid who was born a millionaire.

Creative boosters are perceptive to what a particular family needs. A job? A house? Sibling scholarship? Eyebrows?

I too do not like this trend towards "tell all" revelations, GiG. In most cases the revealers are paid by the intricacies of their admission. So the event expands in volume so that the media's "bounty-bid" will go higher. The "right" action is to, right then, thank the fan and give the money back ... or else wipe it out of your memory since you were complicit in the completion the act. Recall those representative FBI stakeouts where they say: "Wait! Wait 'til the money changes hands."

How many $100 handshakes do you think LDR received at today's events?
