Scrambled, composure, eyes down the field, +60 yard strike for the win... 2nd game, I'm liking his moxie despite his immature, crybaby head coach and fetal position OC. Congrats players, you overcame some sideline sedation and stupidity and did your fans proud today.

I learned that Mac/Nuss should let Franks throw the ball D O W N F I E L D more. No, make that A L O T.

Weve developed a theory around here that a receiver isn't open unless he's got two steps on the corner back. that just isn't the case . it certainly was never the only time we could throw in the Spurrier era. you have to make the right throw and it has to be thrown to where the receiver has the better angle than the DB, but the truth is DBs are playing DB because they can't catch well enough to be a wide receiver.

only the hyper-conservative think you can't pass unless the DB slipped. we need rid of the chump mindset.
Yeah i agree with this. For example, Toney's dropped TD . He was pretty well covered and Franks dropped it in there to him. Toney will come up with that catch in the future I think. Dude is a baller.

What did I learn? Franks can play. I don't know what anyone else saw that's calling him average. We've had average to below average QBs here for awhile. Franks has potential. I have more hope after this game for Franks individually. The team will still suck until a big change is made at the top.

FIFY - this is what was meant by celebrate the game. It doesn't feel much like a celebration when it seems like every positive comment must be offset by negativity.

He does great when he ignores the coaches.

Franks should call his own plays.

Intentional hyperbole or super ignorant?

I'm not happy with the coaching and playcalling, but no, the players would not be better without these coaches. Could they be coached better? Yes. If the offense doesn't continue their 4th quarter improvement, there will have to be changes to the coaching staff.

...but remember...

We won! Join doopree in celebrating for a bit! Let's try to force a smile, k?

Left: I think my funnel is slipping out of my ass.
Right: That's why I told you to put it in a ziploc bag and plug it. That way when we sit down it assplodes, no funnel needed.

Props to Franks. But I'm also loving that play for a few reasons despite the drop. For one, the coaches actually called a pass for Toney that wasn't in the flat for a screen (I'm not sold on Nuss, but for all the play call bashing that goes on - please note this, and others, that were thrown downfield). For two, Toney showed the speed to get there and earn more such play calls - as much as he can juke from the LOS, I don't want other teams to cover him as a one trick pony. For three, Franks showed the touch to put it there for the WR as opposed to just high speed missiles.
