Have enjoyed some of the music threads here in the lounge. Was at my mother's house over the storm and going through some of my old belongings she had put away, including my 8 Track carrying case. Hadn't seen it in many years, but was glad to see there were still several tapes in there. One in particular was Red Tape by Atlanta Rhythm Section. "Shanghai'd" was a local party song when I was still running the roads...
Always wanted to see these guys in concert, but never got the chance. Anybody here see them or remember their music? Read somewhere that they were a studio band that got bigger from local beginnings around the ATL area. "Doraville" was another favorite...
Some good Southern Rock, I guess, is the best way to describe them. Champagne Jam might have been their biggest hit (and album, as well), but I always like Spooky...
Lead guitarist was pretty good. Wondering if any of them are still around. Good stuff.
