The question is offense.
Well, I mean if it's not a question of whether I think he'd be the best coach or would know how to build a defense also.

I also think he would be the only one who could transition easily. The others are running spreads and we'd look like dawgshyt trying to run a spread with our roster. We would be 131st for years to come.

He isn't my first pick though.

I concur. Riley's would be my second choice if he brought his QB.
Riley would be a disaster. You really want to see Big Fred trying to outrun a linebacker on a spread stretch play? ANY OF OUR OL? Really?

Our linemen are too slow to manage a kick step before the DE is by them.

What about Frost? Bright, young, energetic, knows Florida, down the road, won't break the bank.

Do you really want to roll the dice again? Or would you rather go after someone with a proven track record n the bigs?

Proven. But I could be persuaded if provens weren't proven available.

It does strike me as crazy that we're having this convo and he's right here, but I don't think he wants to coach anymore.

Ur probably right, but the press conferences were and would be pure gold.

Regardless how many pooh-pooh the idea, I have no doubt Gator Nation would be electrified to have the HBC back, even if for only two or three seasons, which in many cases is all you get out of anyone anymore.

Mehhh... seems like a option guy, what little I've seen. I like that he throws vertically some, but, again, option is a recipe for disaster. We arent half as fast on offense as we were when Creyer took over and even then our offense was shyt until 2007.

But you have to admit, it plays into our recruiting strengths.

Uh, no, I don't. Do you mean it plays into the leftovers that Bammer, Ugly, Clemson, Clown Town and Barn don't want?

If we stopped letting all the elite WRs, QBS, and RBs go elsewhere we would have to be sifting through the Deonte Thompsons, Deboses and Brandon Powells.

No, I just as soon keep the Emmitt Smiths, Fred Taylors, Danny Wuerffels, Trent Richardsons, and those type here in Florida.

I don't understand the narrative that we don't have real WRs and Rbs in Fla anymore.
