FYI, your trip will cost slightly less than you had originally planned, b/c the price of tickets outside the stadium will be well below 50% of face value. Yesterday was the 2nd toughest ticket of our home schedule (behind FSU), and I paid exactly one-third of the face value. Next week against A&M my limit will be 15 bucks. So if you change your mind you might spend 150 bucks less than anticipated, depending on size of your party.

I remember buying seats in the champions Club for $30 during the Zook era. I imagine they're dirt cheap now. We would buy $5 tickets so we could leave and get drinks and come back. That all ended w Meyer.

As far as I'm concerned, Mac is a dead man walking. He is exactly where Muschamp was in 2013. Exposed with nothing but hope and wishes.

I'm convinced that Mac thinks he's a good coach, which means he will fail.
Even a lousy coach, who knows he's lousy will try to compensate for his lousiness through better staff.
Mac's arrogance will keep him from getting better staff to cover for his weaknesses. Which means the trainwreck has to run it's course. Sorry. Muschamp 2.0

The facts are we are 2 miracles away from being 1-4, against 4 very bad teams. Part of me wishes we would haven lost those games so the total exposure of Mac's bad game time coaching, his poor player development, and crappy pregame prep would be complete. No way we don't get waxed by A&M if he continues coaching like he has so far. As others have said, he is not SEC HBC material. I fear those lucky wins have just prolonged our misery, as did winning the putrid SEC East 2 years in a row. Mac is who we think he is, and has proven it every game this year.

Before foley quit it was apparent he would not spend money on a coach. Even Miami learned their lesson. We have to wait for Stricklin to do his thing. The wait sucks though.

I would trade this staff for South Carolina's right now which is sad.

Miami got lucky with the timing of Richt getting canned at UGA. I want to say Miami is paying Richt near what he made at UGA, which is a lot for Miami to pay out. Your right though, Miami got tired of being mediocre and when they saw an opportunity they went all in for it. I'm sure Richt being an alum didn't hurt their chances either. I have my doubts about Stricklin, maybe he'll surprise me though. We likely won't get to find out until after next season at the earliest.

Take away two miracle finishes and we
are 1 - 4.

This is pathetic. If Stricklin doesn’t do something quickly, his job will be in jeopardy.
Surely his eyes are beginning to open.

Charlie is ballin’ in Tampa.

Please forgive the dislike from my boy, Law. He's a bit preoccupied with obfuscation. Charlie's obviously got it going and is the most likeliest of successors to his whipping boy, Mac, which is naturally going to piss him off to the utmost.

Exhibit A, USF #10 in total offense. Doesn't matter if they're in a conference lesser than ours, unless you want to admit Brohm isn't worthy. Ah, but you won't.

And, um, I think we know Strong can recruit and coach up a defense.

The common thread is how out of control it all is. In Miami fans were convinced Shalala hated football, wanted it de-emphasized and wouldn't spend on the program what was necessary. Now she's gone and Miami is spending, building a bit and most importantly winning and relevant. We are not. I'm convinced foley felt the same. Now that he's gone we have to see what we got in Stricklin. That's all we can do as fans.

All true, except Muschamp was able to recruit defense which helped keep us in games. Without a significant change Mac is just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Interesting that we have two new assistants that coached on two of these staffs last year (North Texas and WVU). I'd be all in favor of Nussmeir getting canned and Seider taking over play calling.
