There’s nothing about this video that makes me believe Chip Kelly is coming to Florida.
Really though? Classic non-denial, opened with a joke to change the subject, was as vanilla as possible with his response. Only thing he denied was being on the plane earlier this week, which we all already knew he wasn't on it anyway. I've never been more sure that he's coming here.

So someone from ESPN finally got in his face. About time. Nice try at deflecting, Chip, but you just pointed the laser right back at you.

Pending the two sides wrapping up the contract details, Kelly is your next head coach of the Florida Gators.

But but but what about those random twitter posts out there that says otherwise?

When he was asked something similar in 2014 he said...

Chip Kelly said on Wednesday neither he nor his agent was ever contacted about the head coach vacancy at Florida.

He dismissed the rumors as "silly" and said he would hardly pay attention if Gators athletic director Jeremy Foley did court him for the job. Not so surprisingly, Kelly said he's more than pleased with his current gig.

"My whole mantra is be where your feet are," said Kelly, in his second year as the Eagles' coach. "I'm right here, and I'm not concerned about anything else. I'm very happy being here now."

So let's think of this in terms of how CK will affect the SEC in terms of coaching status.
1. Satan
2. Kelly
Everyone else...OWNED.

And I think (2) will turn into 1a very quickly.

I gotta feeling we could go on a ride like 2005-2010. The two coaches are both outsiders, both quirky and probably neither long for the job. But, hey, I'll take it in a NY minute. This is gonna be one fun ride.

Again, not a denial by any means. He had the chance to say it and didn't and actually looked pretty happy about it.

Great find.

I'd have to see more video of him answering questions, but the body language seems to be saying "I'm about to be the guy." Shifting from one foot to another the way he is doing is often an excitement tell - paired with the exaggerated rocking I'd say he's hiding something. Hands in the pockets can indicate someone is trying to hide something as well. Given the context of the situation and the question and most tellingly the complete lack of denial; boys, I think this is our new head coach.

When someone gives you an answer that deflects or answers a question you did not ask - it is usually a sign of some kind of deception. He was asked what his interest was and immediately deflected while smiling. As soon as he finished what I assume was his pre-planned response to the question he knew was coming the hands go back in the pocket and the rocking starts.
