And yet... they have no source for Kelly's agents flying in to UCLA. It's just based off some twitter rumor.

Pardon me for my ignorance, as I am an old man and don;t do tweeter or FaceFVVVCK, Snatchchat, or Instaporn, but aren't all these things factual and not heresay, b/c isn't this how 99.9% of all people get their news? Oh yes, I forgot, 99.9% of the world are FVVVVCCKKING MORONS!!!!!!!

The only reason people think the UCLA job is concerning is because of some weird belief that Kelly is a west coast guy when the majority of his life (including his current residence) has been spent on the east coast.

I think everyone is reaching when they try to explain the delay in the announcement with "vetting Kelly, vetting assistants, vetting his dog" and now "Shannon's feelings may get hurt".

The simplest explanation is usually the most correct. The "deal", if there was one beyond discussions, is not done. And yes, UCLA could change things.
Generally agree, but I did not read as not hurting Shannon's feeling or the buy in issue. Anything it is for the players focus/engagement. We still need to beat FSU.

Also, it is best to delay until after season is over, if there is any deal. Personally, I do not know if there is any deal, gentleman's agreement, etc. (probably only initial interest/feelers). I just know PAFOS.

I just gotta believe Chip didnt go through all of this vetting of AC's, facilities negotiations ect to turn away and run to UCLA of all places.

What if CK did realize the UCLA job would become available and he's leveraging Florida to get the better deal with the Bruins. Timing of the UCLA firing is curious.
What's curious about a team that was expected to fire their coach firing him right after a loss to their biggest rival?

Oh well, if he goes to UCLA then he really didnt want to be here anyways. If thats the case im glad he's going now rather than later.
