That's either a ton of smoke or we laid it all out there with Stricklin going face to face and whiffed. Sounds like UCLA gets their big chance.

They’re not announcing Bc it isn’t done. He didn’t sign it according to just about every other news site. And I don’t believe that the administration would ask the Gainesville Sun to falsely report something in order for them to conceal the announcement. I just don’t believe that.

These guys don’t get it. It’s like a coach who tries to put a positive spin on a terrible game. They don’t be have an answer and are too proud to say they’re in over their heads.

Yeah, they aren't telling all the players and recruits that Kelly is the next coach if he didn't sign. They are playing everyone. UCLA firing Mora gave UF the perfect opportunity to delay the announcement. Stricklin is milking this. Another site said that someone at UF has to sign the contract to finalize, but that Kelly has signed.

This is exactly why you don't take weeks to negotiate out a deal. You get the deal done and signed as quickly as you can.

Kudos to Chip for playing his cards right. He has all the negotiating power now and can call the shots. Smart man.
