Yeah, there is always some risk anytime you offer a line, but clearly the small risk with offering this stupid line at such a low payout is one well worth taking from the house's perspective. You know if you could get a corresponding line for him NOT to coach ucla at something like -130, it would be absolutely pounded into oblivion. This is a one sided sucker line with minimal risk to the house, as they know chip kelly is probably ours.

I still think he chooses UF. But If Chip Kelly really wants UCLA over UF then he should go there because he wouldn't be successful here with that attitude. We don't need to be second option.

One of the gators breakdown podcast guys. I am really not sure who they are connected with. they are on Bill King's show occasionally and seem to have some connections with 247.

I sure hope we get him, but it would be nice to have a top coach really jump at the chance to come here. That hasn't happened in a long time. Would certainly make us all feel better about things. Speaks to long term desires and motivations. Kelly would be great regardless, but he'd be much greater coming in excited and really grateful/thrilled for the job vs coming in merc style b/c we were the highest bidder. At some point we've got to find a legit top level coach who is emotionally invested in this program and who wants to build something long-term.
