And Dunn does not want his access cut to prospects. Not only would that hurt him at UF, but other athletic programs would find out and likely view him with more scrutiny. He does not want that reputation.

I think Charlie strong would be a great defensive head coach but I would worry about his offensive interference with what ever OC he would have. We need some offence... I don't want to watch games with 3 field goals.... 6-3 victories are just plain boring..

I think it's smart to cancel the officials even if chip is announced on Sunday. After the game, the recruits will be led around by Nord and Nuss who just got fired. I don't think they'd speak highly of UF, and the recruits can watch them pack up their office (Nord didn't even get to finish coloring 1/2 his books).
You only get 1 official per recruit. Save it when UF can be shown in its best light by Coach Kelly/Frost.

That they verbally agreed to a deal, but Chip got cold feet and is considering other options. He’s done it before with NFL teams when he was at Oregon, so it wouldn’t be unprecedented. That said, Heitner looks like he just comments / recycles message board rumors.
WTF????? What does this mean?
If his hesitation is true after weeks of talking, I’m not sure it’s a great sign (although who knows what is actually happening). If this falls through, let’s just hope we can get Frost.

No, actually it indicates we know a new staff will be in place soon. If we had no idea and were concerned about it maybe being two ornthree more weeks, we would continue having our current staff doing the commit tonthe logo thing.
