Makes more sense than most rumors. Wonder if the opt out clause is reciprocal? Would explain the fact that we were late in cancelling official visits.

10:26 a.m.: USA Today‘s George Schroeder reports that offers to Chip Kelly have been “in the range of $6 million per year” and that he turned down interest from Tennessee and possibly Nebraska as well. Furthermore, he points out that “a potential sticking point” for Kelly may be that UCLA is an Under Armour school, while Kelly has a famously great relationship with Nike founder Phil Knight, the primary booster at Oregon. Chomp: Hey, at least Florida is a Nike school.

So we just had a bunch of players troll GatorNation with a choreographed emoji tweet, and now commits are publicly cancelling officials until a coach is named. Sounds like people are either having fun with it or being asked to drum up drama

Recruits were asked to cancel OV the week after Mac was fired. These kids only get one and the admin thought it would be unfair to meet coaches that wont be here

That’s fine and completely fair, but now they are going public with it. So I think they are either having fun or choreographing drama.
