Florida will take on Stanford Thanksgiving Night at 10 PM on ESPN2. This will be our first game in the Motion Bracket of the PK80 Tournament. Stanford will come in after losing at home to UNC. They bring a massive frontcourt that will challenge us early and often. Our bigs better come ready to play and ready to be tough. We need to dictate the pace beginning to end and get back to the high flying offense making shots.

Everybody enjoy some turkey and watching football and basketball and get ready for the Gators at night.

Go Gators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stanford could embarrass us. We must get our FG% better than last game's 32%. How do we handle Stanford ... run fresh guys in & out to wear them down? A test too tough too soon? The first 2 games had me thinking spundips ranking us #8 was too low. After watching several other teams, we could get pushed out of the top15. Should get better as the season seasons us, esp' our youth. And when Egbunu joins in, we'll be better.

This Stanford program was 14-17 last year and has already lost to Eastern Washington this year. This is a game UF should win, but as rogdochar says UF can not both play small and not shoot well.

Gonna be really tough to be Stanford without 3 centers. Young players need to step up. Need a huge game from Gak!!!

Dang Hayes! On the big stage, he's out. Gotta be a foul attitude along with the specific violation?
Well, time for the outside shooters to be reliable hits. Hope I'm thinking on an uptick from a savy Chase Johnson manipulating close to the basket. Gak, don't get in early foul trouble and while at it, don't get in late foul trouble.
Go Gators, make it a good game to watch.

Gak is still on a min limit. Might only be allowed to play 15 min still.....

Not sure what Hayes did. Some speculation this was from a past incident that is just now being suspended.

I think it may be he missed curfew and is missing tonight because of it. Doesn't sound like a problem other than for tonight

It's relatively easy to make threes without a hand in your face. It's much harder when the defender can smell your breath. This is not going to be an easy game.

Florida is up 18-7 at the under 16 timeout. Shots are falling and we are engaged defensively and rebounding at the moment
