Plus his outrageously ridiculous astronomical buyout. What justified THAT?
Desperation I guess. Who cares. Id seriously rather promote Shannon, Seider or Rumph. They can all recruit too!

1) Kelly
2) Frost
3) Norvell

Norvell's the wild card. I think Stricklin's gonna go safe and pursue either Strong or Mullen if Nos. 1 and 2 fall through.

I think you are spot on. Which in this scenario I prefer Strong.

If we do not have a big “splash hire” like CK or Frost then have to be prepared for whats next.

I know. Nobody wants to hear this.

Strong isn't coming here. I'm telling you all there would be 50 people in the stadium opening day. Fix the offense fix the team fix the record. Stricklin knows this or at least has said it in press conferences. He needs to bring the fun back (his words). That means a defensive coach with offensive problems will not be the hire. 99.4% chance it's not. I guess you all can believe in the 0.6% chance.l

Just a reminder. Strong doesn't call the offensive plays. Sterlin Gilbert does. USF's offense is rated #12 in the nation. Again, I'm looking through UF's lens in the post-Kelly/Frost world.

Because you have strong behind Babers and Campbell. We don’t need another smartest guy in the room coaching hire. We need a sure thing. And if we fail, I’d take strong over two guys who don’t know jack about Florida and it’s history. Charlie has coached at UF since the 80s. I’d at least be willing to ride with him.

Frost, kelly, Norvell, beg stoops, then Strong, then Taggart, then off the football program
Right on.

So would a viable fall back be Strong with his OC Gilbert?

Somebody has a hard on for Strong

No, he's down my list further than you think. Just citing facts and speculating how UF might look at it.

I'm actually pretty good with Norvell becoming our coach. I think he's a rising star. Definitely like the guy's offense. And I think he'd thoroughly welcome the opportunity.

I'm frankly getting sick and tired of Kelly dicking us around.
