What a creep Fisher is. A&M is going to learn very quickly that they made a mistake hiring that prick.
Fisher will also quickly find out that he's no longer in the comfort of the pansy-azz ACC. Facing Bama, LSU and Auburn every year is no joke, plus TAMU hosts Clemson as their second game next year.

I get that, I guess I'm just caught off guard by the apparent hate that's coming out the last week or two. I don't know...like I said, I pay zero attention to the clowns bc I loathe everything about that school and town.

The guy has always struck me as abrasive & arrogant. I’m not surprised by the acrimonious split.

Texas A&M is going to seriously regret that hire. Jimbo is one major ass.

Agreed. I also wonder how well he’ll recruit there, at least out of the gate. He’s spent 10 or so years focusing on the southeast. Is he really gonna pull high school Florida blue chip kids to Texas? I don’t see that happen often. So how long will it take him to build relationships in Texas/surrounding states when guys like Tom Herman, Lincoln Riley and staff at OU, Ed O. at LSU, etc. have been doing so for years. It may not be as easy as some think.

Like Rapeis or not, and lord knows we all wish he would catapult himself into a brick wall, the rapist could QB and was a leader.

Look at Gumbo ****ter's record without him as QB. Mediocre at best.

Like Ox said, he hosts Clemson in game two next year, and also has road trips to Bammer, The Barn, Cowbell, and Duncechump.

Welcome to the SEC bitch.

And yet, back in the real world, Jimbob Bowdenbastard is a 4 loss coach IN THE ACC without Jameis.

Yep. 56-22 in 6 seasons (results of tomorrow’s game notwithstanding) without Jameis, almost 4 losses per year. And 83-23 in 8 seasons with Jameis, which is still ALMOST 3 losses per year on average. All while his 2 biggest rivals (us and Miami) were ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL! And while having top 3-5 recruiting classes each year! The guy is so overrated it’s ridiculous.

$$$$$$$$$$

Yeah, but he already makes $6+ million per year at FSU. If you look at it on an annual basis it’s not as big a bump as it appears (at least in the world of college football coaching salaries), it’s just the duration of the contract is much longer. I think it was more the burning of bridges with his admin & boosters, along with maybe a fresh start because of the divorce.

Rick Ballou backed up Tomahawknation. Reports a players only meeting is going on right now. They are discussing Jimbo Fisher. If he stays to coach the game on Saturday, they won't play.

Love it. Could witness the first forfeit of my life. Can’t happen to a better group of clowns

You mean the players would forfeit and finish 5-7 rather than play for Jimbo with the chance to make the Poulan Weed Whacker Bowl? What, and miss the bowl game gift bag that includes a replacement spool of .80mm monofilament weed eater string? Say it ain’t so!
