The SEC doesn't have much room to talk about the other conferences with how it was this season. Heck Bama's best win is over a team that lost to Troy.
The SEC also only went 6-9 against the other power 5 conference teams.

Wisconsin is a good team they just have a bad QB. The Big Ten has pretty solid teams now, this isn’t 2005-2010 anymore. The SEC is mostly dog crap.

This is why the playoff is crap. There is no argument for either of these teams, one a two loss champion and another that didnt even finish first in their division to be in the playoffs.
Give the #1 team a bye or let them play UCF.

Imagine if we still had the BCS. It would have been a choice between OU, Clemson, and UGA for the title game. And now we have a choice between Bama or OSU for the 4th playoff spot. The controversy will always be there.

Yep it will always be there. I think they go to a 6 team deal in a few years as the next change. Maybe guaranteeing a spot to the 4 highest ranked power 5 champions and having 2 open spots that the other conference teams are eligible for a spot also if they meet a certain criteria. Top 2 seeds get a bye.

That would make Wisconsin a bad team. Their two "quality wins" were over Iowa and Michigan, who are both currently un-ranked.
The second best team in Wisconsin's division is Northwestern, followed by Purdue, Iowa, Nebraska, you get the point. Behind Ohio State is Penn State and their only quality win was against 19th ranked Michigan (who is currently un-ranked). I agree that the SEC is down, but to act like the Big 10 has closed the talent gap is laughable.
That being said, I hope the playoff committee selects OSU over Bama. Urban will get completely embarrassed again by Clemson on a national stage.

I'll just say this, Vegas would have Bama favored by 5.5 over pOSU which is probably the biggest indicator of the best team. People usually stop BSing when money is involved.

I don't know why any Gator fan would want Bama to get into the playoff.
F Bama. I am so sick of Bama I could spit. They have become the quintessential self-licking ice cream cone and it sucks for everybody. They win damn near every game because they have so many good players. And they have so many good players because they win so many games. The cycle never ends. Let them sit at home and watch the playoffs this year. I won't shed a tear at all.
BTW the fact that the best team doesn't always win is the whole reason we like sports. Without that, there is no reason to even play the games. Lay out a path to a championship and win the games you have to win to advance. Don't get that done and you stay home, no matter how beautiful anybody thinks you are.

I suspect that there will be a bias against two SEC schools, and one for OSU. Time will tell.

Agree. WTF is "the eye test" teams need to pass anyways?
8 team playoff. Power 5 conference champs + highest ranked non-Power 5 (for that occasional Cindarella upset) and two at large teams to argue over ad infinitum.
