Yes I am ROASTING the Haters and Complainers for sure. NOTICE how when called out TUNABOAT gets angry BUT he offers ZERO congratulations to the Gators WHEN WE WIN. On the other hand, WHEN WE LOSE, he is ALLLLL over the Gators and how horrible we are. HHHMMMM, WHY IS THAT???!!! Anyone can say they are a Gators fan for 500 years but when you ONLY show up when we LOSE, that is just simple trolling. OWNED and DESTROYED and CANNED and SUNK!! Go Gators!!

So.....as long as he is a fan, does it matter when he posts. If you are on a message board regularly year in and year out, you are a true die hard fan that I am proud to say is a Gator!

Agreed that the guys were a little tougher tonight. Still have too many lapses defensively, but some better than the three previous games. Looks like Coach and the kids are still struggling for an offensive identity beyond jack it up or drive and hope quite often. Offense was better at the end, however. Also seems like we had better in-bounds plays last year than what we did yesterday. Defensively, we appeared to be fighting through screens some better and not switching as much. We did give up too many penetrations to the lane without help and Chiozza can get a little lazy at the end of the clock and either leave his feet or give up and go for the wrap-around steal attempt. He's a senior and ought to be much more solid from start to finish IMO. Don't know what to think about Allen and Hayes. Reading too many headlines? Need them to be more consistent and productive. A better inside presence on both ends will help immensely. All eyes should be on the road and not the rear view mirror at this point.

One of the vagaries of the game...Announcers drone on about the no-call on the hand slap and TO to give us the ball, but little mention of the foul call on Ciozza at the 1:32 mark that shouldn't have been. Sometimes things have a way of evening out!

Did you not see this?

Great win to get back on track! Switched between the B-Ball and V-Ball games the whole time and the girls pulled out a great win over USC and had to fight like hell to do it coming from down-sets. Excellent win for White and Mary!!!

To the SCREAMING little adolescent known as jboss - Knock it off. I got sick of your tired act a long time ago. You are not in charge of anything and I wouldn't recommend your continued harassment of long-time Gator posters like me. I've been there for the GATORS for over 50 years, punk. When did you jump on the bandwagon?

jboss has admitted it is an online persona, not how he really is. And while I agree his singling you out has been over the top, you do have the option of engaging the ignore function. Might be worth it in this case.

Stone was my player of the game, despite missing the monster slam dunk (jeesh!). Kid came out aggressive and was fighting from the tip off to win us balls. Didn't hesitate to shoot (and MAKE) that three early on. He's still young, and fairly limited, but he gave it all he had.

Chiozza on defense....he and Egor didn't really even half try for some of those rebounds early on. So aggravating to watch him stand nearby and do nothing. Buy my big question is why did we see Chiozza under the basket on defense so much? Were we sending the taller players out to use their length in harassing the perimeter? I got sick of wondering why Chiozza was under the basket against a much taller guy so dang much.

Chiozza on offense...early on he seemed out of it again, but he setttled in and ran the court well. I do like the adjustment White made to have Chiozza back into the post and distribute - Cinci didn't seem to know what to do, and I'm impressed we had some play calls for that type of attack. I recognize White is giving him some breaks, having Allen run the point (and it helps that Hudson can bring it up if needed), but the big takeaway from the game for me was we are SCREWED if Chiozza gets hurt. He is the engine that runs this team. Not to jinx him, but dude needs to stay healthy (and White needs to be developing a second PG).

Chiozza and Allen recently have been in the post on defense because we switch every screen and teams are exploiting it and creating mismatches more and more

I agree with you Lee about having Chiozza initiate the offense from the low post, but I do not think that will be a viable option against most teams who have a bigger, stronger defender they can put on Chiozza. I still think Mike's biggest weakness is his ability to help his guys get shots in the half court. I still thought there was too much one pass and shoot or just throw it to Allen or Hudson and let them create. Get them the ball coming off a screen or some type of movement will allow them to give them a better angle to get to the goal. I still wish there was more off the ball action they might lead to a good, open look, 3-4 passes into the pattern. But that just does not seem to be Mike's thing. With that said, it was a nice win. also we do not have any back to basket offensive presence, although we do have the size for that, it is just not Hayes game. And Egbunu has never been good at that b/c he is a little slow getting into his offensive moves. I hope that When Eggy returns, he will put his emphasis on rebounding and clogging the middle defensively. That may allow us to be a better perimeter defensive team, but only time will tell.

Knock it off.

I have to say his usual ALL CAPS are a real service. I don't always look at who is posting before I read something, but in his case I never closely read what is posted due tot he ALL CAPS warning me what it is.

On the first part of you post, I wonder to what extent we as a fan base were beaten down by Kasey Hill driving to the basket and throwing up a hopeless shot the last 3 years. So last year we were never surprised by bad half court offense, but this year we are?

As far as no calls go, there was also that great fast break pass to Koulechov who was bodied and knocked down on the ensuing layup that they did not call. They showed the replay so many times and never once commented on that missed call. That is just the way it goes, when you win you move on, when you lose you worry about calls.

Notice when called out, posters come on and congratulate but before they were ONLY on here to complain when we lost. Go look at the Gonzaga thread and you will see that certain posters are not there to offer congrats. Still waiting on a few to chime in...

GREAT coaching by Mike White to get this team ready to play. GREAT plays drawn up by Mike White at the end of the game with the Chioza isolation plays to SEAL the WIN. You just have to give credit to Coach White and the players. Go Gators!!

Answer me this if anyone can. Why do some posters seemingly only show up when we lose?? When we win, we don't hear from them. Hmmm, why is that?? ONLY when called out they show up cause they have to cause they have been Owned and Destroyed perhaps. GatorBait!! Go Gators!!

Because message boards were created to have an outlet to complain and vent (with some discussions thrown in lol). When teams beat the opponents they should and in the manner they should be beating them during a long season there is little to complain or vent about.
