Wow. I never imagined this. Cousin Eddie may be getting a snowball rolling.

Turns out most Florida kids probably don't want to spend half the year in slush and under gray skies. This could be huge for us.

WR Trevon Grimes I believe will have to sit out next season and would be a Sophomore the following year. Correct? The Old Miss transfer will be eligible this coming season if I have read everything correct.

I would have thought several people would have recruiting him.
Something weird there. Not sure what they know that we don't but none of the big programs gave him a commitable offer.

From what I've read, he was homesick his entire Freshman year. He wanted to get closer to home. Glad he picked us vs Miami (maybe it's too close)

Not without waiver

Transfer terms
Eligibility Timeline

Division I five-year clock: If you play at a Division I school, you have five-calendar years in which to play four seasons of competition. Your five-year clock starts when you enroll as a full-time student at any college. Thereafter, your clock continues, even if you spend an academic year in residence as a result of transferring; decide to red shirt, if you do not attend school or even if you go part-time during your college career.

The article in the tweet said he took a leave of absence due to family medical. Hopefully, he can get a waiver. If not, it may be best, because his family is dealing with something and maybe he needs to focus on that in the short-term

The fact that he was already out of school on a sabbatical due to a serious family illness may make it easier to get the waiver. Clearly his situation is well documented. I just pray that his family member (I heard it is Mom) is going to be ok. Family first.....something like this can be extremely tough on anyone let alone a 19 year old away from home. Family before football. Prayers for the family.

Damn I broke news? Think that’s a first

Also, I think he sat out the whole year basically so a waiver isn’t out of the question
