I thought I read somewhere there was a family member with health issues...I could be wrong

and I'm 1,000% sure urbs breath smells like crap
Even if he has to sitout, the optics are wonderful. People are starting to look our way again. Stealing top recruits and transfers.

We are finally getting some of that Fooley/Dwagshyt/Trailerbammer wannabe stench off.

Even if he has to sit out a year this is a HUGE get. Top WR talent. Next year isn't going to rough no matter what. But now you have Grimes, Jones, some great RBs... grab some key OL and this offense is going to be a ton better in 2019.

I agree. Mullen has definitely changed the perception of the program.
Moves like this makes other kids take notice. I'm starting to think that maybe he knows what he's doing.

He and Jefferson won't count towards this class but Mullen out there doing work. Whatever our final ranking is will feel like a farce.

Now if we could get a couple of disgruntled 5-star LBs or DL players to transfer here. Not asking too much...lol.

Wow, and that’s not taking into consideration those 2 already maturing and adding strength and size. If both are eligible next year with our schedule .... look out. We might be the 2018 version of this years Georgia.

You might want to slow your roll there. We don’t have near the talent stockpiled to suddenly be a playoff team just because of two WR transfers. That being said, still good news.

No but the perception and momentum are all important.

At least we aren't having to make excuses, celebrate imagined 2nd place finishes, and claim you can't recruit for the first 4 years.

So I haven't checked the math so take it for what it's worth but...

Is that good for a transition class? :stars:

I did a calculation using Jefferson & Grimes and it pushes the average grade (per 247 composite) up by .75 or so to just over 91, which would be top 10.

That average may rise if they drop Gammage.

No doubt. And great news. Mullen is already better than the last two a-holes. But, the comparison to Ugly’s sudden rise is a massive stretch. If Eddie gets us to 8-4/9-3 next year and improves each week, it’ll be a tremendous season. The current talent level overall sucks too much to compete with all the big boys next season.
