I'm hearing Cell has moved out of his appt and is going Pro. This is why we're going heavy on S this cycle. Also... Look for alot of attrition in the secondary during the spring cause we're fixing to process some dead weight!

Everyone is the dark right now but i think he'll be a Gator. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Best of luck Marcell if you actually give the draft a go. I think he needed more time in college. Only towards the end of his last season did he show any improvement at all in good safety skills. His first 2.5 years he had zero ball or route recognition skills and at least slowed a glimmer late in his 3rd year, unlike Nick Washington who was 4 years of horrible. Good luck marcell, but I see him as a lesser version of Matt Elam, who also had awful coverage skills when in the safety spot!

We're going to miss having him. I hate that his career ended this way and I wish he was coming back. I hope he makes it in the NFL.

Some family friends of ours have kids that went to high school with him. By all accounts, he's a good kid and a hard worker, though I agree with you he out played his expected skill level. Probably best he strike while the iron is hot.

I wish him the best. Heading into the season, I saw 2nd-3rd round grades on Marcell. His workouts, assuming he'll be at full speed for the UF day, will be very important. In particular, his 40 time.
